Opportunity to make this right! Malfuntioning DVD player given as a gift and just used for the first time

Summary: Please contact me. This was purchased as a gift and when we attempted to use it, it did not function properly. We actually had to tape it closed in order to get the DVD to spin correctly and play the DVD! We need to return this item and did not realize that your policy only allowed for a 30 day return. Please contact me so we can work something out.
Summary: Do not waste your time with this product. I'm surprised that Philips hasn't pulled it off the shelves. I have experienced ALL of the negative comments listed for this product: stopped working on the second day, wouldn't play BluRay discs, spontaneous rebooting. Buyer beware!
Works great, here are instructions on how to put files onto the USB disk

Summary: I use it to play videos off of the USB stick. The screen and volume are excellent. The only problem is that there are no instructions on how to prepare the files for the USB! I used a program called Any Video Converter (AVC) to prepare my mp4 video files. Just copy the finished avi files into the root of a fat32 usb drive.
Summary: Player worked fine, but cable broke in one use. We managed to take the power cord end apart and get it to work in the car, but I don't know for how long. I called Amazon, and they told me I'd have to send the whole thing back rather than order another part. I can't do that because I need the DVD player NOW for moving across the country. Don't buy this thing. I know there really isn't an alternative, as I've looked.
Unfortunately I will be returning the DVD player. We ...

Summary: Unfortunately I will be returning the DVD player. We ordered it for a car trip and the player will only work while laying flat. It will not play any discs while strapped to the headset. Our last portable DVD player was a Philips and we never had a problem with it so I'm guessing we just got a "bum" one.
Summary: The DVD player skips whenever you go over a crack in the road, or if there is wind that is over 5 miles per hour. We had a Sony DVD player for 6 years and it worked great. I wish they made duel players. This player was a waste of money. It does not even save where you left off in the movie. It worked for a few weeks. Too bad the return policy from EA electronics is only 30 days. I am sure I will be throwing it in the garbage soon.
Summary: First off it doesn't want to load the disk Says no disk when there is a disk Neatly I paid over a hundred dollars for this and it doesn't want to work properly Refurbished shouldn't work like this and plus I didn't even know I was ordering a refurbished product
