Summary: It plays movies with extraordinary quality. However, if you have a streaming service, the wireless connection is very slow and the movies will pause and buffer....I did not tried a wire connection yet but I assume that could be faster...
Summary: I have no issues with this Blu-Ray. Everything works so far. Netflix works well. Pandora streams fine. Vudu gives you a 5.99 credit which works. Setup on my network was very easy and no connection problems yet. I have this downstairs and my router is upstairs. Pretty extensive app base compared even to my LG 3D smart tv or Vizio 3D player. Customer support answered in under 1 minute without endless computer messages during my test call.
Too Expensive. Features barely work. Bad HD Playback

Summary: Netflix interface is slow, buggy, inconsistent and unresponsive. The Netflix interface is a nightmare to use. My home has an XBox 360, two PC's connected to TV's, a laptop, an Android phone an iPad Touch and this player all setup to stream Netflix. The Phillips player is by far the worst experience of all these devices. Each single button press takes 5 - 10 seconds to be reflected on screen, playback looks low quality Youtube compression at best.
Summary: Hears the deal ! Unit is ok. I find it kind of slow to load video's. The bigest thing is if you don't have a phillips reciver for the sound forget it. Once again you will need to use the included remote. If your like me with 3 remotes on the coffee table that gets old. I happen to have a Sony HDMI reciver you can't program phillips on a sony reciver. I'm going to return mine. And get the sony. When your building a system.
Summary: First I'd like to note this is my 6th blueray player. Ive yet to find one that works reliably with Netflix. Bought at Walmart for $118. Never even played a blueray with this player. Netflix access is very, very, very slow although setup was pretty simple. The second day I attempted to access Netflix the unit was unable to connect although my laptop and iPhone had no problem. Feel sorry for those who paid 180 for this pos.
Summary: We purchased this item NOT for the 3-D but solely for the internal wi-fi. We wanted to be able to watch Netflix and/or other wireless channels. The fact that we could tap into our computers was a bonus. It was very easy to set up and connect to our wireless router. However, we could never get it to recover after the wireless connection was lost (or interrupted). There was no documentation that explained how to reconnect.
