Summary: Got this for Christmas as a gift from my wife. It is as titled a great entry level player. The good. Loads Blu-ray's fast Nice and quiet The user interface is pleasing and easy to navigate. The bad. Lack of ports. No optical out is a bit of a pain. The update system is can be confusing.
Summary: Purchased this as a reasonably priced Blu Ray player. It does everything I want and need and seems to do it effortlessly - I have had no issues with noise or heat. This is the second unit I've bought from the BDP3000 range and both have been exceptionally good value.

Summary: Took Amazon's advice and orded lead with it. Plugged it in and it worked first time, only problem was sorting out how to watch on TV, just changed the input on TV. Slight noise when disc first put in but none after that.
