Summary: I only give it three stars because I want to connect it to the internet so I can you know watch Netflix in my room but it only allows me to use an Ethernet cable and I do not want an inconvenient cord running all the way from my room to the living room which is downstairs. That is so annoying that I can't connect to my wireless wifi router. But it still plays well I just wish it would let me freaking watch my Netflix without the stupid Ethernet cord.
Summary: Had this blu ray for less than a month and streamed Vudu movies and Netflix, but kept losing sound, sound "popped" and video would freeze. I've streamed videos on Youtube and lost sound on that app too. I borrowed a friend's Sony blu ray and had NO PROBLEM! Will exchange for the cheaper Sony blu ray player, so save your money on this product!!
Summary: This refurbished player does not have built-in wifi so you will need a wifi link to get the online apps working.(Netflix,Pandora,etc.) Blue ray and DVD plays super HD with good video and audio outputs. Movies look and sound fantastic. We have our basement TV hooked through a stereo system and didn't want to spend a lot of $$ for a DVD/Blue-ray for it's not our primary TV down in our basement. This refurbished Phillips player is a great value at just under $40.
Summary: I thought I was a getting a great deal on a Blu-Ray player. When I got home and tried to set it up the USB Wi-Fi reader was not included in the box. On the site the wi-fi reader was supposed to be included in the box. I'm not upset that the HDMI cable wasn't included. I can buy those off eBay for a dollar or less. I bringing is back to Wal-Mart tomorrow afternoon and requesting a refund. Not worth my time and effort screaming at box that can't do anything.
Summary: Player is small, and light, which is good for the spot I have, it needs to be small. I was slightly dissapointed when I got it home and there were no chords to connect it to my tv, and no batteries for the remote.
Summary: It came earlier then I expected. I am very please with my purchase. I hooked it up myself and was very easy. I did have to buy a HDMi cord. No big deal. I went online walmart.com found a cord for less than 4 dollars did site to store had it in three day. I am very very happy with all my stuff.
Summary: Worked ok at first then had a few problems. Didn't like to load from Netflix when trying to continue a show started earlier. After 2 days quit working at all so I returned it to my local stare for a full refund. Never did try playing a BluRay disk or DVD.
Summary: I read some of the reviews here and people do not do there home work. For one, i do not know any Blu-Ray player that comes with HDMI cable no matter how much the cost. It also say that it is w-Fi capable which mean it does not come with Wi-Fi. This is for people that rated it one or two stars. I do not know what you expect for the cost you paid for it.
