Summary: This home theater system is working pretty well in our smaller-sized family room with our 42" Samsung flat screen TV. Our family room is on the smaller size, approx. 11 x 12 and open to the kitchen area. Installation was relatively simple once you completely read the instructions and/or have technical experience like my husband.
Great entry-level Home Theater System. You get what you pay for!

Summary: First off, I've noticed a few reviews where it states that this HTIB (Home Theater In a Box) doesn't work with LG or Toshiba. I'm not sure if that's model specific or what because I have it running in a bedroom using a Toshiba and it works fine. I wouldn't suggest to put a system like this in your living room. Most audiophiles will tell you to never deal with a HTIB, but this is a very good system for a bedroom (especially at $200).
Finally a real review I wish I had when I bought this thing...ENJOY

Summary: I usually don't leave reviews but had to here because I was pretty skeptical on buying this system with all the mixed reviews it gets, so bare with me if it's long, I'll try to be fun and to the point. So I went out and bought it from best buy anyway figuring if I didn't like it, I had 30 days to return it and here's my review on it and I hope this helps some of you looking for a good home theater system and don't wanna pay a boat load of money for one.
Summary: I would have given the product 5 stars but for the hassle to set it up to work with my tv and also the fact that it does not have wifi built into it. I had to take extra steps to update the firmware. That said, once I got it going I could not believe the sound. I had a sony home theater which I swore by but this system easily blew it out of the water. Will recommend to everyone looking to get great sound from their blue ray and the big games.
Summary: I purchased this system when it was on sale for $200. I would probably not purchase it for $400 as I think there are better systems out there for this amount. For $200 though, it was worth it. Here are a few details from my experience, although I've only had it for about a week. Installation/setup- Extremely easy. Everything was very well packed to make sure it arrived in pristine condition.
Summary: Actually, I think the title sums it up really well. The set up is super easy. Everything is color coded as far as the speakers/wiring goes, and the digital set up is equally simple. The sound itself isnt massive as has been mentioned before, but is a definite step up from run of the mill audio systems and a huge leap from standard TV sound. It really sounds nice and clear, but wont shake the walls and anger your neighbors, lol.
Summary: This sound system does a wonderful job. It was difficult to set up because I have no electronic experience. I brought in a friend and got everything set up. The Blu-Ray does a great job. I would this system. The only negative is the part needed to connect my wireless system isn't included. It's a part that must be purchased separately.
