Summary: My Panasonic Home Theater system stopped playing blu ray disks a few months after I purchased it on Amazon.com. Panasonic had me mail it to their repair center at my expense. They have had it at their facility for two weeks and they told me that they have not even looked at it. Even worse, they could not even tell me when they would be able to inspect it since they were so far behind. I did not count on warranty service being so hard to get from Panasonic. Buyer beware!
Summary: Well to put this in the best way let's cut through the chase, "JUNK"! I had purchased the SA-HT95 in and around 10 years ago made by panasonic and with out a doubt the best surround sound DVD player I could've bought at that time, it finally gave up the ghost but trusting in the name panasonic I went and purchased the SC-BTT195 and thought what a way to spend the next decade in the world of surround sound, could not have been more wrong!
Summary: received promptly, great sound BUT DVD can only be heard when volume is 100%...... where CD, IPOD, FM music all sound great at 20-30%.... tried Panasonic support, but just get the run around..... not helpful, they seem to be protective and defensive about their product. tried all the fixes they suggested with only minimal improvement. clearly must be technical flaw with the DVD electronics...
Summary: I'm not recommend this product because it has output problem in the blu-ray device, and also one speaker has a problem it doesn't make any sounds, and that was the first time I used. so, one the big issue I'm from South America and the time this item take was too much, so, I can't used any returned police because it gonnna cost me too much money
Summary: This is the worst home theater system ever, the sound is so cheap, I thought it would have some bass in it to give it that movie theater quality, but it has the same sound as any regular tv. The volume is low even at 46. I just got it today from walmart and the center speaker doesn't even work. I will never buy any electronics from walmart I always have a bad experience with them.
Summary: Unfortunately, The review that it would not work with LG or Toshiba TV's is correct. I Could not get the Digital- In portion to work so that it goes to the cable box audio when powered up, so every time you turn the unit on and want to watch TV you have to go through several button presses to get it to to the digital optical or the aux setting that is the audio from the cable box. I watch a lot more TV than I do DVD or Blueray.
Summary: I had purchased the SA-HT95 surround sound DVD player by panasonic around 10yrs ago or so, it finally gave up the ghost, best surround sound unit I could've bought at the time, so trusting the name; panasonic I purchased the SC-BTT195 knowing it would be just as good, could not have been more wrong, the background sound is great, I could not hear what was being said in the movie, I e-mailed panasonic and asked how can I fix this and their reply was, read the instruction...
Summary: Although the sound quality is nice, there are several additional and expensive purchases necessary to have this theater system function the way I wanted. I bought it to have better sound while watching TV on my flat screen tv, yet needed to buy a digital audio cable in addition to the HDMI cable I also had to buy. The Blue Ray player is not Internet ready. A Panasonic LAN card also must be purchased as no other brand is compatible.
Summary: I only wanted speakers for my TV. It is very difficult to use. The messages on the front panel can't be read from any distance. So difficult to turn on and off, we leave it on all of the time. One of surround sound sound speakers came without a wire and it uses a proprietary wire. Center speaker doesn't work with stereo input.
Pros: sound quality not bad though not surround sound
