i have it hooked up to my computer via optical cable and it does get annoying to keep switching the wire
19 July 2014
Summary: i've had this since christmas. it might just be my ears (i have a hard time hearing in surround) but its very hard for me to hear the surround sound when watching a movie or tv. music i can distinguish it, but just barley.
Sound quality 4 stars, but a single HDMI and a single Optical input for 'theater system' 2 stars

Summary: Okay so buyer beware and all that... I failed to fully read the specs so shame on me. I made it work, but seriously... just one HDMI and one Digital Optical input for a 'theater surround sound system'?
Summary: We replaced Kenwood system with this one, because the Kenwood receiver was big and bulky. This one is more compact. Led to believe it had WIFI, which it did after buying the addapter through amazon. Okay for the price.
Summary: 3.5 stars. IT'S NOT BAD! For the price, actually, it's pretty nice. But I wish I had forked over another $100 and got a better system. This sucker gets loud but I really dislike the receiver. Not terribly user-friendly. Only one HDMI port. Otherwise, it's a fine sound system.
Summary: This system looks great, but the quality of the surround sound is not very good at all. I really can't hear any of the distinct separation I got with the previous system I bought which was not a Panasonic.
