The Panasonic DMP-BDT350 is a Blu-ray player that supports 3D Full 1080p High Definition output with reduced power consumption, VIERA CAST, 96kHz surround sound re-master, one USB port, multi-format playback and 1080p up-conversion for DVDs in its slim form factor. The player also features PHL, Reference Chroma Processor Plus, PHL Reference Chroma Processor Plus. It is developed in collaboration with the Panasonic Hollywood Laboratory so in a way, this technology reproduces clear and vibrant colors that are as true to the original film. Recognizing that audio is important to the overall entertainment experience, an SD memory card slot with AVCHD support, 4:4:4 signal technology, power save mode, Unselected Device Save, and Quick Start.

Features

The Panasonic DMP-BDT350 is a 3D Blu-ray Disc player that includes an SD Memory card, that lets users view and share digital still images and HD video recorded with an HD camcorder in the AVCHD format. The player also features VIERA Cast, as well as BD Live, 7.1 channel audio decoder (Dolby True HD, DTS HD), an SD Memory Card slot (to play AVCHD HD video and JPEG digital still pictures), a USB port, twin HDMI and DivX HD; 4:4:4 signal technology, which working in tandem with PHL Reference Chroma Processor Plus. It processes up to 15 million pixel (per second) of the Blu-ray Disc video signal in the horizontal direction to compliment vertical direction processing. P4HD (Pixel Precision Progressive Processing for HD) is a technology that optimizes picture quality of Blu-ray players. The player then utilizes 16-level motion detection to categorize the image motion of each pixel into one of 16 levels; diagonal processing to detect diagonals and correct the pixels accordingly. Other features on the DMP-BDT350 include 1080p up-conversion of content recorded in the 480i/p or 720p; 1080/24p output which reproduces cinema images from a Blu-ray Disc and DVD in their original 24p form; Power Save Mode which automatically turns off the player when the system returns to TV operation using the VIERA Link menu; Unselected Device Save which automatically turns off the player's Quick Start function and the UniPhier® single chip LSI which enables users to pack an entire video signal processing circuit onto a single chip. This single chip technology reduces power consumption; the number of parts needed and supports a compact design. The power consumption on the unit goes from 19 watts to 14 watts and stand by power consumption from 0.6 watts to 0.1 watts. Other features on the BDT350 include USB slot for connection with Wireless LAN Adaptor for wireless connection to online content such as VIERA CAST and BD-Live and USB memory slot that supports JPEG/MP3 and DivX movie data playback.
