Summary: I bought this as part of a package deal with my 3D TV. Connecting it was hassle free and the picture quality was outstanding. The only con is the internet hookup. You need a CAT 5 or 6 cable to get an internet connection and the updates to this device using the internet are typical.
Summary: Panasonic's DMP-BDT100 Blu-ray 3D player is currently one of the least expensive options for 3D Blu-ray playback, but this doesn't mean it sacrifices performance for the sake of cost savings. The player offers a robust set of streaming options (Netflix, Amazon VOD, YouTube, Pandora, etc.
Summary: I do not have a Lan Drop in the room I installed this machine. I am now forced to shop for the Lan Adapter that New Egg does not care to sell.
Pros: Light weight, trendy machine. It has an HDMI out. And a LAN and USB port. To work the Wi Fi (wireless) you will need a Panasonic Lan Adapter currently selling for $90. The irony is New Egg does not have any of these adapters.
Cons: Wireless Panasonic Adapter is not supplied. Only the Panasonic adapter will work. Why? So that the manufacturer can make more money! But why is New Egg not carrying these adapters?
Summary: I purchased this unit to be able to access the internet. I had already purchased the separate wireless adapter for my old Panasonic DVD player and then realized it did not even have a port for it. So, rather than start over I purchased a new 3D unit.
Summary: I was slightly leary at the time of the purchase, primarily due to the low price. This was on the heals of research I had done regarding the reviews. It turned out this player is a very good buy. All aspects operate as designed and they operate with ease.
Summary: The Panasonic DMP-BDT100 Full HD 3D Blu-ray Disc Player was offered as part of the promotion on my Panasonic Plasma HD 3D TV set. It certainly lacks many of the features that come on my top-of-the-line Sony Blu-ray player. But, it was not offered as the most elite player that Panasonic manufactures.
Good Player. Get as part of Panasonic bundle deal!

Summary: Got this player in the bundle deal with my Panasonic VIERA TC-P42GT25 42-inch, 3D glasses, & Avatar 3D BluRay. First BluRay player experience, so I don't have anything to compare it to. The picture quality is good on the TV, audio sounds fine (though I don't have it hooked up to a sound system yet).
