Summary: I bought this especially because it was not only Blueray, but also 3D.The 3D can be adjusted up or down to your preference which is another reason I bought it.I would not buy a 3D Blueray player unless it could adjust the 3D.
Summary: Two yrs. ago I bought this product Blu-ray on sale here at AMAZON. GREAT PLAYER and I bought the warranty too. It still plays , and I usually buy Panasonic products, for their name and features, I was not disappointed . My first music player was Panasonic as well, still have it. I would recommend this product to everyone, the pictures are clear and it's a wonderful gift as well.
Summary: It plays blu-rays but in order to us e the apps you have to connect through a wire or buy a wireless adapter which is pretty huge and ugly expensive. Then the apps are not full functioning. For example, you can only watch movies from your queue on the Netflix app. You cannot browse shows. There are many other items out there that are more functional. I wouldn't waste my time on this product.
Summary: Initially, when installed, this unit worked great and I was happy with the remote and general operation. I had installed a high quality HDMI cable to connect between the unit and TV. It was kind of stiff and heavy. One day the unit would not put out a picture. I ultimately found that the HDMI socket at the back of the unit had failed. Panasonic replaced it with a refurbished one. It did not work out of the box.
Summary: This a fantastic DVD / Blu-Ray player. But it is not good for much else. I have this BD/DVD player and a Panasonic plasma TV. But I have an Onkyo digital receiver. All components are advertised as being compliant with the HDMI CEC protocol (which Panasonic calls "VEIRA Link"). FWIW, my 50" Panasonic 3D plasma TV is also a "VIERA Link" device.
