Quiet drive and Wi-Fi is flawless with my setup

J___, Amazon
22 January 2011
  • Summary: Primary reasons for this purchase were to replace a very loud Samsung DVD-1080P9 1080p Upconverting DVD player (purchased just last year) as well as play Netflix movies (which, prior to now I was viewing with a laptop connected to my 1080p Sharp TV).

Good Blu-Ray/Internet Combo Unit

webgeezer, Amazon
18 January 2011
  • Summary: This is my first purchase of a Blu-Ray Disc Player. Since I was going to buy a Roku unit, the wi-fi enabled internet controller was a real plus. I knew Netflix was covered, and I hoped hulu was too, but that is not the case.

Christopher J. Scott "unclehoundsthecat", Amazon
30 December 2010
  • Summary: Setting Up Since so many have written about this unit's set up, I thought I'd write my review while setting up the product. Here we go... 1. Connected HDMI cable from old DVD to new Panasonic Blu Ray. Plugged the Panasonic in. Turn on TV. It works! 2. Prompted to input some information.

Liking Panasonic

Grumpy Matt, Amazon
8 December 2010
  • Summary: Bought this blu ray with a panasonic p46s2 tv. So far, both are working well. I knew we wanted to be able to access netflix, pandora etc., and considered the g25 tv. But someone suggested a dvd player that has internet access, and noted that the combined price of of this player plus the s2 was...

Excellent Blu Ray Player and works well with Panasonic TV

A. Chan, Amazon
25 November 2010
  • Summary: Player was easy to set up and it comes with Wi-Fi built in. Other products try to advertise that you can connect thru Wifi to YouTube, Netflix, Picasa, Pandora, but neglect the fact that you have to buy an optional wireless transceiver in order to access things wireless.

Just what he wanted

C. Cihat, Amazon
2 November 2010
  • Summary: Very quick response which is just what hubby wanted. Our old blue-ray was soooo slow. This one is amazing and so clear you might think it is 3-D.

Great Blu Ray Player For Users Of All Needs!

Joe P. "Root Beer Enthusiast", Amazon
30 October 2010
  • Summary: I originally got a similar model LG Blu Ray player. After having some of the same issues with playback on two of them, I exchanged it for this one. I couldn't be happier. Now, I mainly use it for watching BDs and DVDs, I don't really use the little online stuff like netflix and whatnot.

Just a quick review....

SilverArrow, Amazon
29 September 2010
  • Summary: I always look to reviews to assist in my buying decisions, yet never find the time to add one of my own, well I've found some time, although only a few minutes :) Great product, been using Netflix Instant Queue for about 2 weeks now, along with about 8 Blu-Ray discs and assorted DVDs, all played...

Love this player

Joe Consumer "Greg", Amazon
18 September 2010
  • Summary: This box has been great straight across the board. The only thing I didn't like was this. This box was a purchase for my father-in-law. He did not have a Netflix account so I set up this player with Netflix using mine.

Exceptional Player for the Money

Audiophile1150, Amazon
20 August 2010
  • Summary: I purchased this player about 4 months ago and it has become a welcome addition to my system. The blu-ray video quality is exceptional for a player in this price category. Access time is reasonably fast and the ability to access Netflix and read SD memory cards is a big plus.
