Excerpt: Back in 2012, my husband decided that he wanted to watch more films and requested a blu-ray player for his birthday. This was the first blu-ray player we had ever owned and I chose this Panasonic (DMP BD75) based on previous positive experiences with the Panasonic brand.
Pros: Reliable, easy to use, excellent picture quality
Summary: Brilliant player that has replaced my 10 year old Sony and thought it was about time to do so. Does what its says on the tin, very quiet and plays everything I have chucked at it. Excellent dvd upscaleing no issues so far.

Summary: The Panasonic DVD player / HDD recorder combo I bought over 5 years ago is still working well today - so when looking for a Blu-Ray player it was the brand I looked at first. This Blu-Ray player is pretty basic, but if you don't need lots of apps or have a TV which has already has then, then this is...
Summary: First experience of BluRay this, and wasn't sure what to expect, although I am a Panasonic fan. It's very affordable, and doesn't have many of the unnecessary bells and whistles that other models have. Reviews seemed faultless, and if you don't have/need 3D capable devices, then it has all you need.
Summary: There was a time when I would have bought the flashiest, most expensive brand name player just because I wanted the best. But previous experience has taught me to be a little more careful this time. I usually end up with a whole bunch of features that I've paid for which don't get any use.
Summary: Only issue I had with this player I could only use a few operations from my Panasonic TV Remote unlike my last Panasonic Blue ray player which allowed almost all operations, it may just have needed to be programmed or the firmware updated, otherwise a brilliant piece of kit for the money.
Plays blu-ray fine, fast & quiet - but not much else

Summary: If you want a basic unit that plays everything, that is fast and quiet, but with little or no network capability, then the DMP-BD75 is good value at £62. I didn't find it noisy, but perhaps its because I'm old :-) It powers up and loads quickly, much faster than it takes to read the usual...
Summary: To be honest this is a nice little player. Compact device, start up speed seems fine, navigation menu is simple and the picture quality is great. The problem was I connected the blu-ray player to my TV via HDMI and then from my TV to my surround sound system via an optical cable.
Summary: Picture quality and sound are great. This machine upscales normal DVD to 1080p and upscaling quality is also great. This player is very thin and operating system is well made comparing to previous Panasonic blu ray players.
