Summary: There was a time when I would have bought the flashiest, most expensive brand name player just because I wanted the best. But previous experience has taught me to be a little more careful this time. I usually end up with a whole bunch of features that I've paid for which don't get any use.
Panasonic DMP-BD75EB-K Ultra Fast Booting 2D Blu-Ray Disc Player
15 October 2012
Summary: This Blu Ray Player is a good value for money item. The Player itself is slim and looks stylish with a fairly robust remote. Looking at the other reviews, the only negative comments were that it is noisy when playing Blu Ray Discs. I bought it to play DVD Discs so this did not put me off buying it.
Summary: I bought this a couple of months ago, and I'm very happy. It's very small, both width and depth wise, so it fits perfectly in front of my TV. The remote is reasonably small and easy to use as well, which is always a bonus.
Plays blu-ray fine, fast & quiet - but not much else

Summary: If you want a basic unit that plays everything, that is fast and quiet, but with little or no network capability, then the DMP-BD75 is good value at £62. I didn't find it noisy, but perhaps its because I'm old :-) It powers up and loads quickly, much faster than it takes to read the usual...
Summary: Brilliant player that has replaced my 10 year old Sony and thought it was about time to do so. Does what its says on the tin, very quiet and plays everything I have chucked at it. Excellent dvd upscaleing no issues so far.

Summary: The Panasonic DVD player / HDD recorder combo I bought over 5 years ago is still working well today - so when looking for a Blu-Ray player it was the brand I looked at first. This Blu-Ray player is pretty basic, but if you don't need lots of apps or have a TV which has already has then, then this is...
Summary: First experience of BluRay this, and wasn't sure what to expect, although I am a Panasonic fan. It's very affordable, and doesn't have many of the unnecessary bells and whistles that other models have. Reviews seemed faultless, and if you don't have/need 3D capable devices, then it has all you need.
Summary: Only issue I had with this player I could only use a few operations from my Panasonic TV Remote unlike my last Panasonic Blue ray player which allowed almost all operations, it may just have needed to be programmed or the firmware updated, otherwise a brilliant piece of kit for the money.
Summary: A PS3 has been my bluray player for the last three years. My son got the PS3 so I searched for a 2D bluray player of good quality but not expensive. The Panasonic DMP-BD75EB-K has so far not disappointed. It is reasonable fast and quiet.
