Summary: The reviews here are mostly positive... and for good reason. I love this Blu-ray DVD player by Panasonic! The price is (was) good... it's now 4+ years old... but still works great! I subscribe to Netflix, which provides the latest Blu-ray movies via the mail... when I'm done watching, send it back and the next movie will be shipped... Sweet! The player has a number of network streaming services... the best is Amazon's streaming video.
Summary: I have found that it will play 1 out of 20 DVD movies. The other 19 times, it takes forever for the player to read the disc and at best the player shows everything in a green hue and faulty visual like film negatives. I thought this was supposed to be better than a regular DVD player. I won this machine through Club Bing and so so I have no recourse.
Summary: I have owned this blu-ray for a while now and I haven't had any issues or problems with it. It plays all my blu-ray movies and non blu-ray movies. Shows a good picture on the tv, don't know if it's because of the blu-ray or the plasma tv or the hdmi cable, but the movies look good and I like it. I recommend this blu-ray player.
Did not play my first BlueRay disk but played the second - stay tuned

Summary: THIRD REVIEW By now I've successfully played three BDs so I guess the failure to play the first one, which was a rental from Netflix, was a fluke. Still, looks like I must manually update the unit to the latest ROM programs to get the latest features and so it will stop giving me "feature not implemented" type messages. Beginning to like it now. BD is more enjoyable in quality to watch. After I update the ROM, I may update the score to four stars. I'll see how that goes.
Summary: For the price this blu ray player is epic. Sure it takes a minute to boot the blu ray but are you really going to complain about wait like 1 minute for your disc to boot? Don't over pay, buy this model.
Summary: I bought this refurbished, and received it with no problems. The device is easy to setup, the picture looks great, and the disk loading time is very quick. I am only disappointed with the UVerse functionality. It seems to be rushed, and for the most part, unusable.
