  • Pros: Panasonic quality Great video Solid audio Viera Link lets me keep it out of sight and still control it.
  • Cons: Not compatible with anything online, just ethernet updates. Not the load speed of newer players.

bue-ray player is great

Overstock
21 May 2010
  • Summary: I have only had time to watch a couple movies so far and none of them have actually been blue-ray. The picture is really good with regular dvd so I can't wait to watch a blue-ray movie.

Expected much less...

Overstock
28 March 2010
  • Summary: When I ordered the unit, I think I had lower expectations. I was pleasantly surprised when the player arrived a day earlier than I expected, and in pristine condition, with all the cables (including an HDMI cable), manual, etc. Setup was a snap. It makes even my DVD copies look 200% better, and Blu-Ray...there's a major 'WOW!' factor there too! VERY happy with the purchase, and may end up getting another for the bedroom TV as well.

Wait for Panasonic's 2009 blu-ray line before you over-pay for last years player...

Just A Fan "M.R.", Amazon
5 March 2009
  • Summary: Panasonic will be announcing their 2009 line of blu-ray players soon- the BD60 and BD80. So, don't pay an outrageous amount of money for a 2008 player.

CNET Review well deserved.

Lathan M. Minich, Amazon
2 March 2009
  • Summary: I chose this blu-ray player based on the review I read on CNET, which spoke of one of the most inexpensive yet capable players on the market. It did not disappoint. Beautiful picture, BD-Live ready (though the people i bought it for dont even use it), and of course on board decoding of all high definition audio codecs. Nothing but praise for this one.
