Works Good

Overstock
30 May 2010
  • Summary: Sometimes it makes a humming noise from the disc spinning and then it'll stop. Only happened a few times. Pain in the butt to set up, but I am electronically challenged, I did it in 2 hours. For the price this is great. Love the picture quality. Would buy this again.

Reliable, fully featured, top-notch BD performance, but painfully slow disc loading and command processing.

Chad Varnadore, Amazon
5 March 2010
  • Summary: As BD is still a relatively new format, and considering it's flexibility and vast potential, I prefer to stick with players that you can count on. For BD, that usually means Panasonic and Sony (PS3 anyway, as some Sony stand alones have actually been made by Pioneer, which have had more problems...

Hugh, Amazon
8 July 2009
  • Summary: I recently went to Circuit City and purchased the new Panasonic DMP-BD35K Blu-Ray Player to compare it to the Sony BDP-S350 I have at home. I purchased the Sony a month before the Panasonic came out and wanted to see how it measured up.

  • Summary: Do yourself a favor and buy it at Best Buy where its listed for $299. This is robbery and I'm surprised Amazon is overlooking it.

This review will save you time configuring this outstanding player

JulsS, Amazon
26 December 2008
  • Summary: This is an outstanding player with great picture and sound. However, as others have pointed out, the documentation is poor when it comes to player configuration: 1) If you plan to use Dolby TrueHD or DTS-HD, you must turn *off* BD-Video Secondary Audio (page 31 in the manual).
