....Nowhere near as good as my ancient unbranded PVR
Mr. T. Aplin, Amazon

Summary: ...... Slow to start, uses older LG drivers, unable to resume playback of recorded programmes (if you pause and exit, the next time you want to watch the same programme, you have to view from the start and "fast forward"!), time-shift viewing only available on programmes you are recording, cannot delete viewed programmes whilst it's recording something else, the list is endless. Really disappointed with this item, and I'm normally an LG fan!
Summary: I have had this for 6 months. It is HDMId to a LG 55" LM760T. The standard picture from the TV and the HD recorder is superb and the HD is the tops. The recorder also gives great sound through a Bosse system. The apps work OK and BBC I-player has come on line through the TV. Works fine with an Ethernet cable. The recorder records beautifully. You can change the view of the recordings to Alphabetical so you see all the series recordings in line. Deletion is easy.
Summary: Bought this to connect to my sound bar, good picture and sound, very easy to record especially handy being able to split record programmes, sometimes on channel 4 and 5 programmes are split up with news bulletins inbetween.one niggle though, if you'r watching tv and recording at the same time, when that programme stops recording the unit will automatically switch off , a message pops up for about 5 seconds to warn you but if the remote is'nt close by then its too late.
Summary: This is a nice machine with various features such as in/out connection to external HDD, albeit with limited access to the web. Access is country limited, while there is no real browsing potential; it just selects specific content from youtube and other sites without offering the use the opportunity to browse and select.
Summary: Annoying but you get to live with it... Several other reviews mention some of the irritations so I won't go over all of them. Just had a big fight with LG about the lack of BBC i-player. I asked them right back when I bought it (6 months ago) why it wasn't there and was told that the BBC had pulled it to update it for the Olympics. Now told that BBC have never supported it and probably won't.
Summary: Works very well wireless wi-fi worked straight away and no problems streaming movies but dissapointed with audio on them although in response to a query Acetrax said dolby 5.1 is coming. First movie is free unlike netflix who want you to sign up straighaway. Apps on board are average but a little slow to load. Blu ray movies are great if you have a 7.1 amp connected breathtaking!! Old dvds look better too with the upscaling.
Summary: This has to be without a doubt one of the best 3d blue ray players I have ever had. The picture quality is absolutly fabulous, the colours are so vibrant and the 3d is out of this world. Plus there is a hard drive, you can record all your favourite programs and keep them on the hard drive until you are ready to copy them to disc, or you can record straight onto disc, the decision is yours. I would recomend this 3d blue ray player to anyone who is thinking of getting one.
Pros: Easy Set-Up, Excellent Image Quality, Good Connections
Summary: I have an LG LCD HD flat screen TV which has been perfect so it is with great regret that I have to inform people that I had to return this item to Amazon after 2 months. To give Amazon credit they took it back without any quibble even after 2 months (1 month outside their usual money back period) after I informed them that despite trying several times the HDD would not record without random signal break up during recording.
Summary: Absolute rubbish. Counter intuitive and doesn't pair well with the matching television. Must try harder, it's going back. On the plus side I suppose it is inexpensive for the amount of functions it combines into one unit.
