If you have extra money to spend for a better model, then you should

Summary: If you have extra money to spend for a better model, then you should. WE out this one in the bedroom, it only has Vudo and Netflix with the WiFi. Sometimes Netflix wont work,. One time it wouldn't work for about 24 hours when the blue-ray in our living room had working Netflix. Sometimes it shows a 2 sec black screen, that's been happening more and more, its very annoying.
Summary: Used for a week, but the sound was terrible, I took it back for a refund. The remote is tiny and cheaply made. LG should never offer such a low range product. I prefer to pay more for dependable performance.
Summary: Purchased several of these as Christmas presents and one for my home. The Blu-Ray player is excellent but we cannot use the Wi-Fi feature because it refuses to pick up a signal from the router inside our home. Strange that two computers and all of our Android phones get a strong Wi-Fi signal inside the house BUT not this thing. I'm returning it.
Summary: I purchased this at Christmas so my family could watch netflix. It will not load the movies. Two seconds in and message tells me cannot be loaded at this time try again. Wifi signal is good. Bad product!!!!
Summary: Purchased this mainly for Netflix streaming. App will connect and sign into the service, but errors out when trying to play anything. Spoke with LG and Netflix, and both claim the other is at fault. Will be returning it to Amazon. Blu-ray features work well.
Summary: I'm only going to state the facts. I bought this product during Cyber Monday as a second unit to go into my bedroom. Got around to hooking it up a couple of weeks ago. The product was supposed to be able to allow me to use NetFlix in my bedroom because I already have it in my living room. Easy enough to hook up and it does play DVD's and Blu-Rays just fine. The problem is, it won't allow titles to play within the Netflix app.
Summary: returned due to the fact that if i change my input on my tv with this device playing a blu ray it automatically shuts off the dvd player. I do this alot and for this reason I cannot keep this player. I have tried updating the firmware and disabling the power saving option, both did not resolve the issue.
Summary: I am returning this player because of its noisy operation. It doesn't happen with all DVD's, but with some there is a rather loud (almost thumping) noise as the disc whirls around. Some discs play quietly but others, including a new, Blu-ray Disney release, are so loud that the sound can be heard even when the glass-front door is closed on the equipment cabinet. HOWEVER, I would likely have returned the unit even without the above problem.
