Summary: Haven't dealt with the seller of this product but I have dealt with LG many times and their customer service is laughable at best. I bought this purely for price point (at the time it was cheaper) and I guess I got what I paid for. Had it for less than 9 months and it stopped playing Blu-Rays and 3D and will now only play regular DVD. Not even worth the hassle of dealing with LG for the warranty based on how little it cost.
Summary: Started out skipping, then played through the first movie fine. After that it kept on skipping and wouldn't play the movies properly. I hooked up a dvd player to make sure it wasn't the tv or the cable. Sure enough, everything worked fine on the dvd player. This 3d bluray player must have been discontinued for a reason. It doesn't work.
Summary: Unit it worked for first month then the Wifi stopped working. After the wifi stopped working I was no longer able to get the Netflix for obvious reason. Blu ray still works, but will be thinking twice before I EVER buy another LG product again.
Summary: The item came three months after purchase, since it would be transported to Venezuela. Upon receipt, bought a hdmi cable to try it on my 32 inch lcd tv (not 3D). What I turned and there was no problem with it, but gave no image. I connected through a video beam to rule both the cable and the TV having much failure, but still no video output.
Summary: I purchased this disc player and the netflix did not work. After working with LG's customer service it was determined that this model has issues. If you don't care about the netflix and want just a player this would be a good choice.
Summary: The 1st LG blu ray I bought stopped connecting to the internet when I tried to download the latest software updates for it so I bought this one. Hired my tech tutor to set it up. No internet connection in spite of time on phone with comcast IT person. She suggested I go get a Sony that she said she's never had problems with. Ran to the store, bought a Sony, hooked it up and bingo! Internet works.
