Summary: I want a bluray player to play blurays, I have plenty of other devices to run apps on. That said this is a fantastic bluray player. It boots and loads discs quickly and is quiet. As far as I'm concerned that's all I care about, everything else is a bonus. No problems with the wireless so far (after 2 1/2 months). Very happy with this bluray player.
Summary: The idea was good however the product didn't work how it was supposed to. The bluray/dvd worked for the most part (most of the time), but the WiFi was jacked up. It wouldn't pick up any signals. I returned the product and am still waiting on a response and a full refund.
Summary: Great for DVD's but as a "smart DVD player" it isn't great. Apps freeze all the time and sometimes the only way to get out of a screen is to turn the box off and then back on again. The wi-fi is really slow and sometimes I can't even open any of my video streaming apps. I wish I had waited and done more research before trusting LG's name.
Summary: I've had this for 1 week and it was great at the beginning. After 1 week, I put in a blue ray disk and there were "outlining" blue dots all over the screen. I thought it was the disk...then I took the disk out and when I went to the internet portion of the screen, the blue dots were still there. I called LG and they are processing a full credit and a return label. I can't blame the seller. but I think the unit is a duddddddd!!! So I may try another one, but we'll see!!

Summary: We had to return the unit because it immediately had trouble playing back both Blu-ray and DVDs. The machine would lock up completely and require pulling the plug to recover. I didn't get a chance to reach the point where many say wi-fi starts to have problems. Firmware was already up-to-date.

Summary: One month in, after playing all disks just great, it no longer sent a signal to the TV to view the playing of the DVD. Have filled out service notice online, and do not know if they will come to fix (doubtful) or if I must mail it back to LG for service. I had heard good things about LG products. Will never buy LG again. (I then bought a Sony BDP-S3200 Blu-Ray player to replace it. That plays EVERYTHING in widescreen! So I will not buy Sony again, either.
Summary: I got this for all the apps, especially Plex. It works, although the interface for Plex is horrendous and it has a tendency to crash quite often when moving between folders. Other than that, it's been great so far.
