Summary: **ALWAYS READ THE FINE PRINT** I'm usually pet peeve'n about manufacturer warranty but I missed the fine print on this unit. 1 year warranty on parts but only 90 day warranty on labor. Called tech support a couple times to troubleshoot the unit but they want me to send it in - $69 for the labor!!!
Pros: Did what I wanted it to - play Netflix and Blurays
Cons: Worked for about 4 months and crashed. Unit turns on but gets stuck on the LG logo screen. Won't go to the home screen or autoplay any disc.
Summary: I tried to plan a DVD and the movie played just fine but the audio skipped. When I played the same DVD on an identical LG blu ray player, it played correctly, so I returned the player and will buy a different brand.
Cons: I bought this player one month ago, and just used for several times. Then it does work any more. I checked with Newegg, and was told since I ordered it 1 month and 8 days ago, it will not be newegg responsibility, and I need to contact LG. After I tried to call the services several times, which I was promised to receive a returning shipping label after each call, and I was still not able to get it!
Pros: Still waiting for a refund after not receiving 2 Blu Ray Players. I've received notice that one is in the works but I don't even have faith that will happen. I had a difficult time with getting them to file a claim only to call back and find out they never filed one. I'm going to get my credit card company and the attorney general involved. I'm not getting anywhere with these guys.
Summary: This Blu-Ray player has a very cheap look and feel about it comparing to others in this price range poor quality , small , light weight picture not so clever either, LG smart is a joke really don't know why I bought it just hope I can return. I had a Samsung previous to this far Superior better picture Wi-Fi smart TV is excellent everything about Samsung is better just have to pay that little bit more wish I had now
Summary: This product (when I bought it) was advertised as Amazon Instant Compatible, but it is not. I have spoken to Amazon technical support (not much help) and LG. LG say that this model should not be advertised as supporting this feature. Apart from this, I have to say it's a nice machine. If it wasn't for it being misrepresented, I'd give it 5 stars. I had bought a Toshiba BDX5400 which I returned to get an Amazon Instant compatible blu ray player.
Summary: No where on the box does it say it is a "smart" device. LG Smart has an app store etc, this device has three apps hard coded, one being the weather app. If you want a cheap blu ray player save yourself £20 and get the BP125.
