Summary: This Blu-Ray player wasn't very user-friendly from the beginning. Less than a month after hooking it up and using it, it began to not connect to the internet, and it quit playing DVD's. So, it's basically useless. Save your money and get a Samsung instead.
Pros: Relative to most WiFi bulit in Blu-ray players it is cheap. The remote android app is cool. The app actually works better than the remote once you get it running on your phone since you don't have to have line of sight with the player.
Cons: The reception angle for the remote is pretty narrow. The netflix user interface is irritating compared to the interfaces I use on the Wii, PC, or iPad. If you leave the device on Netflix too long you will have to do a complete power cycle of the player. Meaning you have to unplug it. Turning it off won't do. The number of internet apps is 2.
Summary: I just got it hooked up today so it may take time for me to understand its workings better but i see a better difference in color and depth. i found my battery dead so when i replaced it with one of my own i got it working fine... i just guessed because i had tried everything else to hit play and run a movie?
Summary: This Blu-ray player does everything it needs. Picture and sound quality through the HDMI connection are excellent. Bells and whistles are few, but it does include a wi-fi connection and smart-TV applications in case your TV lacks them.
