Summary: We bought this machine along with an LG television a few years ago. At first it worked great, but then it started turning itself off while we would be watching a program (both DVD/Blu Ray and Netflix) For the past few months it has been sporadically allowing us to watch Netflix. Now it will not connect to Netflix AT ALL! A screen comes up telling us to check our internet and Netflix connections. We checked both and they are fine.
Summary: Had to call the company at least once a week for tech support. The CSR was always very polite. We would do soft resets, hard resets and reboots. All of which would work for a few days. Then we would repeat the process all over again. I was told to return the product for repair/replacement. When I opened the emailed instructions, I found that we would have to pay to get the repair/replacement up to $85.00. Why would I do that when a new one is less than $150.00?
Summary: I like this BluRay player a lot, in terms of pictures and quality. While it is nice to have Netflix and DLNA, the interface and implementation could use some work. The Dish Hopper and iPhone have nailed UI in a way that is difficult to describe but you know it when you see it. The LG interface gets the job done, but isn't nearly as intuitive. And this review interface doesn't work with an IPad....
Summary: I bought this when it initially came out, played everything great... and then the updates started happening. I'm an avid Netflix user, and since some updates in the middle of 2012 Netflix continually skips, gets out of sync, etc. This is a known issue with this line, and for someone that uses it constantly it's not acceptable. If you're looking for a good Blu-ray player this is nice, but if you're going to use Netflix, STAY AWAY!
Summary: I bought this player, despite the myriad warnings of others about the imminent failure, characterised by the whining of the disk drive and its failure to play discs. Well, it happened to me after less than 3 months... with VERY little use! The first product I have rated as 1 star, after shopping at Amazon for nearly 20 years! This is the single biggest piece of junk that I've ever wasted my money on.
Summary: I wanted this because it was time to upgrade to Blu-ray, and I like the network video playing capability. Initially we had a lot of problems with it wanting to update, but failing in doing the update over the network. The problem is, it didn't want to do anything else until it got the update done. I was able to download the update and put it on a USB drive, and it was able to update. It seems to have been able to do the next couple updates fine after that.

Summary: I bought the LG BD670 about 10 months ago and have had problems with it off and on since I bought it. It played Blu-ray great when it worked. The wireless network connection continously has to be reset. This was resolved temporarily, but seems to be broken again. Also, although the Smart TV feature contains a good list of apps, including Netflix, Hulu Plus, Youtube, etc., streaming has never worked well.
Summary: I read seven hundred Amazon reviews before deciding to buy this product. Despite all of the negativism, I decded to buy because there seemed to be a 'hysteria' in the later months of the reviews. I do not regret in the least my purchase. This player has worked perfectly according to its specs. When you buy an instrument of this complexity, you have to think about what your doing and you must follow instructions. This has been a boon to our video entertainment activities.

Summary: When it works aside from needing to be updated everytime you turn it on it boast a few nice features. After owning it a few months (warranty for free labor is only 3 months) I had watched about 10 or so blu rays. Now it wont play, or barely plays and clunks and bangs extremely loud.
Summary: Have had this product for approx. 6 months. Have had nothing but problems connecting to wifi. When finally can, many buffering problems and unit will shut itself down, for no reason. Have updated driver many times, but only seems to get worse, each time. 2 nights ago, updated, and now can't connect at all. WiFi is the reason I bought this product. Want to get rid of my cable movie channels and use NetFlix and such for moving watching, so far not happening.
