Summary: Had to call the company at least once a week for tech support. The CSR was always very polite. We would do soft resets, hard resets and reboots. All of which would work for a few days. Then we would repeat the process all over again. I was told to return the product for repair/replacement.
Summary: I bought this player, despite the myriad warnings of others about the imminent failure, characterised by the whining of the disk drive and its failure to play discs. Well, it happened to me after less than 3 months... with VERY little use!

Summary: I bought the LG BD670 about 10 months ago and have had problems with it off and on since I bought it. It played Blu-ray great when it worked. The wireless network connection continously has to be reset. This was resolved temporarily, but seems to be broken again.
Summary: I'm a technology professional and I almost never bother to write reviews. Further, I generally like LG products and I buy them for myself and I sell them to my customers. But this LG BD670 Bluray Player is the worst consumer product I've ever bought. I bought one just before Christmas 2011.
Summary: this thing works correctly about 10% of the time. Every two weeks or so it cannot connect to the network and you have to go through the process again, which doesn't ever work first time. The picture quality is pretty good but it studders constantly on some days, not at all others.
Summary: LG told me they are having a ton of problems with this model. So I ask...."Then why are you still selling them???" I have 3 of these DVD players. I have always been happy with LG products. Even LG cant fix these over the phone. I have to mail them all to LG to have them fixed.

Summary: We ordered the LG BD670 after reading the glowing reviews about the great video quality and the ability to bring streaming video to our home. Now after 4 months of light use the player will no longer load disks.
Summary: I have called LG and Netflix a few times about this issue and I have yet to get a resolution to the problem. Here is what happens: While watching anything on netflix, the sound cuts out, the picture gets very choppy and it basically ruins the experience.
Sad to say -- the dissenters are right and LG is fail

Summary: So -- I was hoping this player would live up to the promise of those offering great reviews. Sadly, it wasn't the case. This player features a severely weak WiFi receiver that immasculates the internet-driven features unless you have fewer than 3 walls and 20 feet to penetrate to the router.
Summary: DVD playback is easy, this review applies to the streaming capabilities. This device started out great (aside from the length of time it takes to buffer the stream, but I can deal with that) - then the firmware updates came...
