Summary: Bought this a while ago for my mother as she loves to watch DVD's. Mainly Columbo! Went LG as she has an LG tv and I think they are a decent manufacturer. She has had it well over 3 years now and it is still going strong. It does a great Job in upscaling DVD's and really does improve the visual quality. If my mum notices then it does a good job, trust me. The remote is clear enough for my mum to use.
Summary: First of all I am not a technophob nor do I understand all the jargon. What I will say is that the product has excelled all my expectations. All of my DVDs are standard from 1960s black and white through to Skyfall. The picture and sound quality is fantastic and a joy to watch again. As there is greater clarity you see all sorts that you have not noticed going on in the front and foreground.I have played one Blue Ray disc and the sound quality is better.I would love to buy...
Summary: I havent done too much with it yet... just a quick install and it worked perfectly with no bother with the HDMI cable to the TV. Picture quality is excellent and it makes DVD's look a lot better than on my old slow... oh so slow to boot up player. Tried a burnt BD disc and the picture quality is stunning. Really pleased and was impressed with how easy LG makes it. Need to try a USB drive to it and also have a go with the ethernet connection.
Summary: I am really pleased with this blu-ray player, it seems to play anything and is so easy to use. It is a good price too so I would recommend it highly . I read quite a lot of reviews about it beforehand and they were mostly good which is why I went for this particular model.I can't really find a negative thing to say about it.
Summary: A great system for the price. It has played everything I've thrown at it so far. The menu system is fast and easy to navigate and the picture quality and sound quality are excellent. It has a USB slot hidden under the front cover which does a good job of playing a range of audio and video files. It is fast enough to stream straight from the stick/drive, even with hi-def files. All-in-all it does exactly what you would want a system like this to do.
Summary: I originally purchased a Pioneer bdp 330,which was a fantastic player both for sound and vision...but i had to return it as the player froze a few times...i had it replaced with the same model, which had the same problem,so the salesperson told me about the Lg bd560,so with hesitation i thought i would try it...man was i suprised....picture was perfect, every bit as good as the pioneer..

Summary: After spending many weeks getting information on different LG blu-ray players I finally settled for this one, I had to be sure that it would play my mkv files. This player plays them extremely well, there are sometimes when I have to convert the audio and the subtitles from bitmap .sub to srt files but these changes are easy to make. I would definitely recommend this for anyone thinking of getting their first blu-ray player.
Summary: This Blu Ray player is wonderful in every way plays any type of files on any media and I have tried them all it also has an option to connect to the internet and I have done son and works flawlessly I have copied movies and pics on to every type of media you can think of USB/BLU RAY RE/BLU RAY RW/DVD RE /DVD RW/ and the files all work perfectly and as for the downloaded blu ray files etc great quality look no further if you are going for your first blu ray player this is...
Summary: Bought the blu-ray machine as a christmas present to ourselves as we have Sky HD and found we were no longer watching any of our DVD's due to the picture quaity being poorer than Sky. The machine is quite simply stunning! Wealready had a LG tele, and connected up, and the blu-ray player set itself up, syncing with it.
