Summary: Good picture and sound ....but its response esp with remote is slow....now i face a problem that after playing for some time the screen turns green and stop working....then i need to turn it off and start again...it happens not only with dvds but also with usb.....
Summary: This player is good value for money easy to set up and use. Picture and sound quality are significantly improved over my old Packard Bell DVD player, even without HD TV and using non Blue-ray DVDs. I havn't yet tested all the features but have no reason not to recommend this product.
Summary: I have 2 of these LG BluRay players. Both worked well, apart from the slightly annoying single region DVD playback which means a few of my old DVDs won't play - but that is how the machine is designed. We don't have many BluRays but the quality seems excellent. They look great apart from those annoying stickers they like to put on the front, which when you remove it leaves the glue stuck on the front of the machine.
Summary: Ok downside first its disc drawer really does feel flimsy, the player and lacks an optical digital audio jack, the usb plug is on the front, and the remote isn't particularly easy to find the button you want without actually looking at it. However its looks, sound, and picture are all superb, it starts quickly and for the sake of another £20 (check the link below) you can be wirelessly watching any video you want on youtube with it.
Summary: Good appearance easy to set up only downsides are that it does not have an optical output for connection to suround sound system and does not come with HDMI cable so take the add on price of this into account Was delivered on time but came without any paperwork.
Summary: Great for the price. Does a great job but isn't perfect. I still give it four stars as it allows me to play DivX HD 1080P and MKV (regrettably NOT MKV HD) discs, also has a good quality handset. Blu-ray playback is spot-on. Very easy to update but you must be connected to your network to do so.
Summary: I emailed LG to ask if it included the Cinavia copy protection which mutes the audio of movies if you copy a bluray to a BD-R or encode it to a smaller file like xvid .avi or 720p .mkv, this is LG's response: "Dear X, Thank you for your email, No this unit does not have Cinavia built-in protection.
Summary: I looked forward to this - being able to see all my favourite You Tube videos on my TV. But was I to be dissapointed...YOU BET. For some reason you dont get all the videos just a selection dont know why. Most of my fave pop videos are not there. If anyone knows a solution to this please let me know.
Summary: What a great blu ray player! Previous to this I had the sony 360 which had slow loading times, bad designed remote and shocking playback quality of dvd & blu rays. I felt that perhaps I was buying for what I got (£120) and getting just a basic player. I was expecting more from Sony. So I sold it as quick as I could and I thought I'd give the new LG BD560 a go as my tv is LG and still within my budget. I was set up and ready to go within a few short minutes...Fantastic!
