Summary: I have had this Lg for about 3 weeks now.I mainly wanted it for the Netflix streeming and wireless capability, why not upgrade to Blu-Ray too all in one machine! The wireless set up was easy I entered the password for my Linksys WRT54GT router and it was online in no time! The router is about 40 ft away two rooms down and the unit is almost at the bottom of the Av cabinet!
Summary: As a professional in the custom A/V industry I shy away from getting myself and my clients wrapped up in products that fail to match up to the HYPE. The LG BD300 continues to do more than I imagined. I was very pleased to show my last client the upgrade to the product software so now it's even a YOUTUBE video player as well as NETFLIX and BLUERAY.
Summary: Comments about LG Electronics BD300 Network Blu-ray Disc Player: This is quite attractive, very compact yet very reliable. Can play almost anything you want to put in it from MP3’s to CD’s and DVD’s. It’s easy to work and I was able to have it running within 25 minutes of getting it out of the box.
Summary: I have had this LG Blu-ray player for several weeks now and I love it. I researched all available players and found this to be the one that met my needs. I love the BD live and the Netflix connection. Set up was so easy, automatically searched for live updates available and downloaded to player. Set up with Netflix was also easy. Accessing Netflix is just one push of a button and you are there at your Netflix Instant to watch Queau.
Summary: I've owned the PS3, Sony BDP-S350, Panasonic BD35K, and the Samsung BD1500 in my quest to find a Blu Ray player that doesn't stink! The LG BD 300 is BY FAR the best I've owned. It uses a high definition interface in the menu structure, the controls are well-thought-out, the remote is great and fits well in your hand. The Netflix streaming service is awesome, too!
Summary: I bought the LG BD-300 together with a 50ft ethernet cable and the new Batman Dark Night DVD. It took me about 10 minutes to hook the device up to my TV, receiver, and home network router. Once I turned the device on it grabbed a firmware update, downloaded it, and came back up. Next the activation code was provided for Netflix...so I activated that via the web and off I went. I think it took 10 minutes start to finish to begin streaming content from Netflix.
Summary: There are a few reviews that state that you cannot use a wireless connection to your lan with this unit. That is not true. I am using a a Linksys Wireless - G router for my network and a Linksys Wireless-G Ethernet Bridge at the BD-300. The two are in separate rooms separated by maybe 50 feet and Netflix movies stream seamlessly. (I'm using cable to connect to the internet.) The setup was a snap.

Summary: Just got this product today, bought it on [...] during a cyber monday deal. Picked the perfect time to buy it because Netflix just announced they will be enabling HD streaming on this device and several others this week. The Blu-Ray quality is fantastic and the Netflix streaming is quite a nice feature especially if you have a speedy internet connection hooked up near where the player is going to be set up.
Summary: I bought the LG BD-300 about a month ago from Circuit City for $349. I can't say enough about the machine. I LOVE IT! Let me tell you about the features. First, the blue-ray player is first class. It has a very short start-up time. I have heard that other "cheaper" players can take several minutes to startup. I use a HDMI cable to connect to my 42" LCD HDTV. The picture is ultra- clear. To me it seems better than the HD picture from DirecTV (and that is saying a lot).
