Summary: I love this player, very basic, but does stream Netflix(my main use). I have had no problems with the player, but the remote is an unresponsive piece of junk. Have to mash the buttons to get it to do what I want.
Summary: this is a complete piece of junk altogether.The remote is hard to push the buttons and if u push it too many times bacause it doesnt work it gies crazy. Sometimes it will freeze so i need to turn it off and unplug it for a couple hiurs or evena day for it to work.
Summary: I was torn after reading the reviews, but I needed a cheap blu-ray quickly. This definitely didn't disappoint. I've had it for a while now and never once experienced any issues other reviewers had, but to be fair we don't use it often.
Summary: I bought this last Black Friday and after a year of use this machines audio stopped working completely. After a month I decided to buy a new HDMI cord because it's a lot cheaper to do that than buy a new machine. Wasn't the HDMI cable. It's the machine. It plays movies fine - just no sound.
Please do yourself a favor and don't buy this player

Summary: Bought one a year ago. A week ago, it stopped working. I'm not getting any signal to the TV whatsoever. Customer service was least helpful and wanted $30 plus shipping to send a new unit even though it just passed the year's warranty mark. Remote is also another pain.
Summary: Purchased from Fry's and will be returned soon. Remote is counter intuitive, and lacks basic functionalities in apps. Poorly streams Netflix video. States slow connection when speed tests around 10 MB down on another device on same network. Has issues powering up after less than a week of use.
Summary: I saw the Digix BD-500 for sale at $20 at a local ToysRUs. Couldn't resist buying it for the Blu-Ray capability. Immediate problems with DVD sound--echos, bobbling and such after a few minutes every time the unit was used.
Summary: I have been trying to watch a movie all morning. I think its dead. I have only had this since Nov and it has worked worse every day. I dont think its my internet because my computer seems fine.

I purchased one for my self - Had trouble connecting to my router - took it back, return - ended up selling it online...
