Summary: This is a great DVD player. Does take time to load Blue-ray. It came in a good box well packed with no dents or dings. Fast shipping. Not much to say except it does play Blue Rays, CDs and DVDs.
Summary: i used to be a fan of Denon, but after 20 months my unit stopped working. it froze with "no disc" always in the display. i tried resetting it but that did not help. i think these days it's better to buy an inexpensive unit & when that dies, just replace it.
Summary: After 20 months of operation the player will no longer play an entire full length DVD, it simply stops and returns to root menu after about 70 or 80 minutes of play. Worse, after approximately 22 months of operation the tray will no longer open, rendering the unit entirely non-functional.
Summary: The picture quality while playing a BD is excellent. That is the full extent of the positive things I can say about this player. It takes forever to turn on, turn off, etc. So by the time you see the menu, you are already getting a little frustrated by how long it's taking. Click the YouTube button.
Summary: Buyers beware - I just bought this unit with all of the latest upgrades through Amazon Prime ( Nov 16th 2012 ) - paid extra to get it sent next day air - and the unit was totaly inoperative and dead on arrival.
Summary: Long-term user now and from the start has been a product that is hard to like and simply not worth the money. It plays CDs well and that is about it. Blu-rays can be slow to load or sometimes don't load at all.
Great audio/video quality; ease of use and noise issues

Summary: I had an opportunity to pick up one of these as an open box at Best Buy for a great price, so I decided to replace my Sony BDP-S580 in my AV system. I wasn't wild about the SQ from the Sony model and I have a collection of both SACD and DVD-A discs - the Denon is a universal disc spinner (i.e.
Summary: Needs hard reset every time I use it. I mean every time. The power on light just blinks for ages, and nothing happens. This is the poorest piece of hardware I have ever had the "pleasure" of owning.
