The Denon DBP-1611UD is a Blu-ray Player priced at $399, and is designed with a chassis that is similar to that of the Denon DBP-2010CI. The player features a power button on the front left and standard playback buttons on the right, a USB connector for additional external memory for media and BD-Live content and a disc tray in the center under the info display. The player features a center-mounted drive mechanism with a low center of gravity for optimum stability, and a chassis built with multi-layer construction for rigidity and reduced vibration-induced distortion.

Features

The Denon DBP-1611UD is compatible with 5 inch disc formats such as BD, DVD, CD, DVD-Audio and SACD. The player is capable of supporting full multi-channel SACD bitstream through its HDMI output for playback of high resolution audio discs in its native form. It supports BD-Live, Netflix and YouTube streaming, and is a DLNA certified device that allows users to stream audio/video/photo files from other DLNA certified devices on a network. The DBP-1611UD also comes with the HDMI v1.4a output which supports 3D playback. It also has interactivity features such as built-in BD Live and “Bonus View” functionality, 1GB of on-board memory for BD-Live playback, a USB port for additional external memory for media and BD-Live content, Kodak Picture CD compatibility; DivX HD+, MP3 and WMA playback (via either recordable DVD/CD or external memory) and 36-Bit Deep Color support.
