Summary: The Cambridge Audio needs more than 2 apps. Great sound and picture. Buy the Oppo model for half the price. I did so now I have both. I like the Oppo better and it has better apps. I can't tell the difference in audio or video quality.

Summary: The Cambridge Audio Azur 752BD delivers the best video and best audio to the screen and amplifier in many different ways. In comparison with OPPO BDP-105, they use the same Marvell QDEO processor for video; Cambridge has 2 x HDMI inputs (one with MHL), S/PDIF, Toslink, and 3 x USB inputs, plus two Audio Return Channel inputs, allowing the 752BD to be a digital hub, connecting a wide range of audio and video sources all of which can be up-sampled and upscaled by the 752BD...
Summary: I purchased the Cambridge Azur 752BD to start the process of upgrading our home theater system. The main purpose for buying the Azur was to bring quality 2 channel sound to our system. I read many reviews comparing the Azur to the Oppo BDP-105. I decided to go with the Azur because of the use of the Wolfson DAC's and it's highly reviewed sound quality.
Pros: Fantastic sound and video. HDMI/MHL port works with Roku stick. Great connections for 7.1 and 2 channel analog sound. Flawlessly worked with external hard drive and a variety of stored media.
Cons: No iOS app to allow control of attached media storage playback. (This is offered on the Oppo). This means that you must have your display on even when listening to stored audio only. It is also very difficult to get in touch with Cambridge Audio about missing features or feature requests. They have no way to contact them via email or web. Called Crutchfield and the tech support number that they gave me at CA was incorrect. So far my experience is one of poor support.
Finally!! one Player That does movies and music with Perfection!!

Summary: I have owned this player for over 3 months and it is one fantastic machine. I have owned many high end players such as the Pioneer 09, Marantz BD8002, Oppo 83 & 83SE, and just recently the Oppo 95. This is by far the best I have owned. Loads lighting fast, video quality is top notch, the best I have ever seen on blu ray and and even more so on upscaling DVD's. But what makes it the best is the sound quality. It is amazing on all outputs--digital, hdmi,7.1 analog.
Summary: As an audiophile, musician and electronics repair technician for over 40 years, let me make clear that at times I like to listen to my system at pretty loud levels and I found the 752BD to be sweeter sounding right out of the box when compared to the Oppo BDP-105 that I recently purchased and evaluated for two weeks. The 752 is quite a bit smaller in size than the 105 and has a few less features, but for critical audiophile level playback it was no contest for me.
Summary: i ordered this player for a friend. in short, this player stands with some of the best blu-ray players out there. The picture quality is outstanding. The audio quality when playing CD's is outstanding and even when playing old pressed CD's you can hear clarity like never before. my friend says that this player does worth every penny he spent on it.
Summary: First of all, you have to chip the player to make it play multi region blu rays and that makes it universal. The player also does not auto switch outputs from region to region and there is no way to see the menus, which are overly complicated. Not to mention customer support will ignore you if you ask them any questions that require any real effort on their part. The guys name was Ed, that I tried to converse with.
Summary: I debated between the CA752BD and the OppoBDP-105 and went with the CA. They are both in the same price range however I feel my choice was good because of the quality this machine does with Blu-ray Discs. Wow! This thing puts movie night to a whole different league. The audio and visual production to the screen is phenomenal. I didn't realize a blu-ray player could be this awesome! Now I need a 4K TV and I'm set...
Pros: Well worth the money that I have invested towards years of enjoyable blu-ray magic!
Wow!
