Ive had the lachesis for about a month or so now, previously used the 3G diamondback, took a little time to get used to the new shape. now that ive gotten used to it, i am liking it, however i am experiencing on the off occasion wat johnny has described above... and it is indeed very very irritating. when it is playing up, and i lift the mouse slightly to move it back to the center of my mouse pad it and the cursor suddenly dives to the bottom of the screen, sometimes it also stops moving left and right which then it will require u to disconnect it and replug it in, it also sometimes randomly changes my DPI to different settings, i dunno if im doing something wrong, but ive disabled all the dpi changing buttons, but it still happens. although it sounds like im against the lachesis, what ive said only happens once in a blue moon, but at those times it causes massive rage and QQ on my part.. has anyone found a fix to this or an explanation to why this sometimes happens? was a pretty pricey purchase and i dont wanna be replacing it any time soon because the problems become too frequent

This mouse is junk. The pointer is CONSTANTLY jumping all over the place. And when it's not jumping, it's just not moving at all..

A bad buy.. I've had better performance with a 10$ mouse..

Mine has worked good for like 6 months and now I got problems with the mouse pointer don't move at the same pace as the mouse. If I move the mouse at a constant pace the mouse pointer while not move at a constant pace and suddenly the mouse pointer can jump a couple of centimeters...
The mouse had issues with the windows 7 standard drivers but installing the Lachesis 1.10 just made the problem even worse.
Have tried it on three computers so I guess the mouse is faulty.

Have mailed Razer support last week without a response, mailed again today.

Had a diamondback for quite a few years, never had any problems with it. Had the lachesis a few weeks and was used to it instantly, never had any problems with it either. You are either used to using other shaped mice so you hold it wrong for what its designed for, or you need to update the drivers.
"Why bother searching drivers blah blah" It takes like 30 seconds to find the drivers, download and install. You wouldnt spend $2000+ on a computer and expect to never need to download drivers for it since you paid that much. The problems are with windows, not the mouse. Hence why you should download razer drivers and it makes those problems go away (Which i never had any problems anyway but all reported ones are fixed with the drivers)

1.Tracking Issues
2.Driver updates have NOT fixed all tracking problems
3.Why bother with the hassle of searching for a driver of a product you just brought for $100 or what ever you might have paid.
4.Go get a $50 MS Mouse and it will prob work better, or even get the $250 MS revolution mouse if you have cash to burn; as this lachesis mouse is a peice of shit and im going to throw it at a wall in a minute.

Lachesis drifting/ accuracy problems:

The laser head is being flexed under pressure. Put your mouse on a solid grippy surface (wood) and press down on the top. The cursor will drift northwest every time. I will be returning this mouse and sticking to my copperhead which only slightly drifts north (which I have leant to compensate for).

lower left corner, where is says Acceleration On, you should turn that off and try it then ;) also, try getting aeon accelfix. That's where jitter comes from I think..

I own a Lachesis Banshee Blue and all I can say it's... wow.
Yes the acceleration in windows it's a bit enoying. You have to disable it to enjoy the pure accuracy of Lachesis. It took a month for me to get used with this mouse, but now... dunno if I can play a shooter with a normally shaped mouse.
Best regards to the team Razer. They have good quality products(PS: I also own a Lycosa...and I enjoy every day i am using that KBD :D )
