Comments on: iPig iPod Dock Speaker Sound System

I use my ipod touch 2G with a slim crystal case for protection. can I use the iPig while the ipod is still in it’s case or do I have to remove the case, everytime I want to dock it?
I really want an iPig so badly and I hope it’s useable with a case around it..?

I purchased this after reading your review because I found it on discount at a drugstore. It really is such great quality! I was worried it wouldn’t work with my 2nd gen iPod Touch because NONE of the iPod docks I have in my house worked it with it! They could play the music but wouldn’t charge. But this finally does.
So if anyone needs to know it’s totally compatible with a 2nd gen touch.
Also I’ve encountered zero problems and can switch tracks, charge, and use all the remote functions.
It’s also super adorable!

Also idk if it’s been answered but the light does stay on constantly. I normally can’t stand to have any lights on at night but I turned off my lights to check and it’s not that bad. It’s on but the light doesn’t carry and cast a glow around it or onto my walls or bed (I keep it on a shelf above it).

j’aii un probleme, je n’arrive pas a changer de “cradle” (le socle pour mettre l’ipod, iphone,…)
donc si vous avez des conseil. ^^

I am keen to use this as a bedside system with my iPod set to alarm, ready to wake me in the morning.
But does the light stay on all the time that the iPig is switched on, or only when it is playing music?
If it is on all the time it won’t work for me, as I don’t want a night light.

@Jenks: Not all the features on the remote work for me either. I’m using a black 4th generation ipod nano. I can’t skip tracks or navigate the ipods menu. Do you use itunes to transfer your music?

I have encounted a problem with both the incompatability of navigating through the iPod, including simple things as changing track. It also does not charge when plugged in, or ever, for that matter.

I hope that it is just me that is experiencing this problem and that it can be rectified, because otherwise it is truely a great product.
