Yesterday we looked at the Playgear Gear Pocket Slim for the PSP. Since we don’t want our Nintendo DS Lite friends to feel left out, today we will look at the PlayGear Pocket Lite. This case is also designed to protect the Nintendo handheld gaming system from trauma and includes the ability of personalization.
One difference from the PSP model is that the PlayGear Pocket Lite is able to store and protect up to four DS Lite games. Also, all the buttons and slots of the DS Lite can be accessed with the gaming system housed within the case. Otherwise, the DS Lite model has all the features of its PSP brethren.

Cases designed to protect portable gaming systems can be bland. Sure you get the physical protection, but they lack individuality. Logitech has addressed this issue with their newest case the PlayGear Pocket Slim for the PSP 2000 series aka the PSP Slim. This case allows the user to access all the controls and connections while the PSP is housed within the PlayGear Pocket Slim.
Logitech includes a template for creating custom skins that lets one personalize the case to their style. In addition, the case can accommodate the larger 2220 mAh Extended Life Battery.

The Nintendo Wii is the most popular next generation gaming console out on the market. It does not have the most powerful processor or the best graphics. What is does have is a unique controller interface using the Wiimote and Nunchuk attachment. Many games are controlled with gesture motions instead of just a controller/joystick interface. This factor makes it appeal to all age groups. Simple games such as bowling take on a new life with gesture based control.
Out of the box, one of the most played games is the one included with the system – Wii Sports. Using the Wiimote, the player can play Golf, Tennis, Bowling, Baseball and Boxing. The on screen character’s movements are controlled with movements of the Wiimote that mimics the real life motion of that particular sport.
To add a touch of realism to these great party games, EagleTech has released the WiiPAL 4-in-1 Sports Pack. The WiiPALS Sports Pack features a remote controller handle and Baseball Bat, Tennis Racket and Golf Club attachments. Now swinging for the fences seems more realistic, hitting a backhand is more life like and hooking the golf ball into the water, never more simple.
