Summary: I want to love my blender but its spent more time broken and in the repair shop than I have ever used it. When it works, it works beautifully, cleans nicely, and makes excellent smoothies. I used my mother's for a couple months several times a day with no problems. I ordered the same one and it was broken within a month, I sent it to repair, was in repair for a couple months, and broke within two weeks of getting it back.
Summary: I have now had this blender for a month or so and have very positive experiences. When making vegetable purees (with little added liquid) the blender seems to be straining but so far has been up to the task; thus not the best blender for preparing baby food and might not survive long. However, this is a bar blender... Normal fruit and vegetable drinks blended together with liquid as recommended come out great.
Innovative and wonderful design. Mediocre blending power.

Summary: If you like the way "traditional" blenders are designed, with screw off bottoms, stop reading. There are better, more powerful blenders out there for you. However, if like me, you hate screw-off bottoms (and have traumatic memories of epic messes caused when you didn't screw it on quite right), this blender offers an alternative one-piece design. It's simply a jar with a non-removable blade fastened in the bottom; the only thing that comes off is the lid.
Exactly what you need in a blender, and nothing that you don't

Summary: Easy to operate, FAST, quiet, and easy to clean. Two speeds on an easy to clean base, with an unbreakable blender jar. This blender gets used daily to make healthy, perfectly smooth smoothies.
Summary: This blender is pretty amazing. I still can't believe how well it works. This is the first blender I've had that was over 50 bucks. The thing I'm not used to yet, is that it actually blends too well from what I'm used to. It liquefies everything you put in it. I enjoy smoothies with a thick consistency, but I'm having trouble making thicker smoothies because of how well it blends. I know, crazy, right?
