Summary: About Philips HR 1363- I was looking for a hand blender as I wasn't interested in the bulky mixers for whom u need a dedicated space & all ...hence looking for something handy....and dis product was a perfect one to my requirement and budget as well .....but was a bit skeptical whether the chopper is decent enough ...specially I could't find any reviews for Dhaniya/Tomato chutney :) ..anyhow gave a try on my own and I no more need any reviews ...
Summary: We bought this to replace a brilliant Braun chopper/blender that finally cracked after about 20 years of fantastic service. The Hand Blender is fine for soups and works exactly as you might expect but my issue is with the size and design of the mini chopper. The capacity is very small indeed and you can only put ingredients in to the half-way mark.
Summary: I used to have a braun stick blender only a 350watt, but boy did it work well, I had this for over 20 years, it got a lot of use as well as I make soup, 10 months ago I had to get a new one I bought a Kenwood triblade, this burnt out in the same 10 months , I was disgusted with it, it was nor worth me sending it back, so I bought the Phillips, it is nice to handle and works well, I think the blade is a little small for it and parsley and celery get wound around it, it...
Summary: This does not seem to reach all ingredients when trying to make batter so I've started mixing by using a fork again as my mum did then using this to finish. It's alright with other things but I bought it mainly for making Yorkshire puddings when my old Braun gave up as it seemed similar.
Summary: I got this to make smoothies and it is excellent, really quick to use and clean. I usually defrost fruit before I use it but have used it with frozen fruit too and it has no problem, best blender I've had. The chopper is great too.
Summary: I got this product about 3 years ago, mainly for blitzing soup (it says you shouldn't use it when the food is hot - but 3 years of use - most weekends - and it has never had a problem. I really like it, it is easy to clean - either in the dishwasher ( you just unclip the bottom section and that goes in the top of the dishwasher), or by hand which doesn't take long at all. it is easy to hold with slightly squidgy grip handles.
Summary: I bought this blender a year ago. It is powerful, easy to use, and easy to clean. I first used the beaker and chopper accessory only a month or so ago, and it turned out to be very good as well -- a mini food processor. This blender is so good that two years after I bought it I want to sit down for five minutes and write a review to tell you all how good it is.
Summary: It's a good hand blender and the chopper is handy for small jobs in the kitchen. I lost the blade and Phillips want to charge me £20 + postage for the replacement. it isn't available anywhere else on the internet. I only paid £25 for the whole thing two years ago! Not particularly impressed with their customer services, quite dismissive of my concern which was disappointing.
Summary: I bought the Philips HR1363 blender with beaker and Chopper Accessory for the sole purpose of blending food made at home for my 13 month old grand-daughter. The blender is very easy to use, extremely quick and gives a texture that suits her. We freeze the portions we blend and save them for when we need them. An excellent buy from Amazon and delivered very quickly.
Summary: Bought this to replace an old Braun mini pimer. Certainly things appeared to have moved on in the intervening decades (!). This machine packs a punch, has a good set of accessories, and is very good value at this price.
