Summary: I bought this item in October 2011. At the time of this review, the item is still blending very well. I have come to prefer it to a standup blender for making a variety of items, e.g. purees, blended soups, breadcrumbs and banana milkshakes. The only problem I have noticed in this time is that a crack has developed in the plastic near where the blades are located. This does not interfere with the blending, however.
Summary: Really useful for mixing protein shakes and simple to clean - just rinse under the tap. The jug is actually why I bought it because I had a cheaper blender but I couldn't find a jug so I bought a Philips one as my brothers got this one - as well as a juicer and it works fine...
Summary: With a lot of choice on amazon for hand blenders and not wanting to spend over £30 this was exactly what I was looking for. Delivery was a little slow but product arrived well packaged and in good condition.
Summary: A portability, easy to use, made of Plastic and stainless steel blender with a cool design is a perfect match for you. It works smoothly without any harsh noise.. And its dual blade makes a perfect blending.
Summary: Bought this to replace my Philips Billy Blender - it seems Billy is no longer available new at a sensible price. I chose this one as it was fairly low powered (my old Billy had been even lower powered and coped with literally all my blending for over 10 years) and also fairly low-priced. The improvement over Billy is the separating blade part, which makes washing up easier, and the beaker is useful for small quantities. Excellent product and well worth the money.
