Excerpt: The KitchenAid KSB560 Five Speed Blender is an excellent blender to have in the kitchen. I like that this blender has five speeds because it can be used for a larger variety of menu ideas and recipes.
Summary: An excellent blender for the price. I have never had any problems with this unit. I use it 5 days a week to mix protein powder with fruit. It is a little on the loud side, but you cannot beat the top quality of this Kitchen Aid blender. The blender can blend thick liquids, such as cool whip and jello (was making a banana pudding). Yes; the blue color is something that you will have to grow into.
Like cleaning sticky smoothie mess that oozes out the bottom of the pitcher? This is the one for you.

Summary: Purchased 3 years ago and it leaked smoothie all over my counter today. I'm giving it 2 stars since I liked it while it worked. I had noticed small cracks in the pitcher over the years but now it's rendered useless. I'm not sure I want to invest in another one and have to replace that down the road. The thing that annoys me most is that when my old blender pitcher broke, I was able to continue using it with a qt sized standard canning jar and the blade assembly.
Summary: Still works from 2008! Use now with the Arbonne protein powder shakes and it works great with ice and whatever else I can throw in there. I made the decision to get after reading tons of reviews and thought I could update to help others. I simply hand wash and once in a while throw the jar and lid in the dishwasher. Best purchase!
Summary: I've only made smoothies and sorbet in this but they come out fantastic. I didn't want to buy an ice cream maker so i decided to attempt a sorbet after seeing my friend make one in her expensive vitamix blender. except for some tiny chunks of fruit left over, (i use frozen organic mango), it does an amazing job, smooth and creamy! and once you add the ingredients, it takes all of 5 seconds to blend it.
Kitchen Aid High Speed blender gets the job done in less time.

Summary: This blender is high speed, which is what I like most about it. I looked at an online kitchen tested video to see which blender passed all the test the best and the Kitchen Aid out performed the other band names. It pulverizes my frozen fruits and veggies in about 20 seconds. I haven't found anything I dislike about it. I would certainly recommend this to anyone who needs to get the job done and doesn't want to spend a lot of money.
Summary: Reading everyones reviews talked me into trying this mixer! It works great.......yes, it is loud but I could care less about that as long as it does the job! I make protein smoothies with this with ICE and it does a fantastic job! I love Kitchen Aid.
Summary: As many others have stated, this is a great blender at first. It has a ton of power and the blades liquefy anything we throw at it. We use it about 2-3 times a day, every day. After 3 months, the carafe started leaking where the blades attach. And it's not a slow leak, it actually throws whatever you're blending around the underside of the carafe and all over the base unit. I'd not recommend this unit to anyone.
