I love making smoothies

Summary: been loving my new blender for a few months now. I love making smoothies. This is a great deal considering some of the other ones I looked at were pricey and bragged about the ability to crush ice. Well fellows we got ya. Good price and crushes ice like a breeze.
Summary: For the price, this is a great blender. I use for smoothies each day. Others have written that they have some ice chunks, but I put in 4-5 good size cubes with about a cup of liquid and I get a smooth shake everytime. Only thing that bothers me is the lid. It's sturdy plastic and all one piece which I liked about it when I ordered it. However, it can be difficult to remove from the base and because it is all one piece, not always easy to clean.
Summary: You get what you pay for. Fine for blending a milkshake. Tough with smoothies using frozen items. Have to stir in between. Eventually gets the job done. Shouldve bought a more powerful blender for my needs.
Summary: I bought it because I liked my first Hamilton Beach Blender and it just died after 10 years. I thought it would be a little better as far as blending smoothies because of the description and the reviews. Mine wasn't. So far, all I have made is smoothies. My smoothies consist of milk, banana, yogurt, frozen fruit and a few ice cubes.
Summary: I've only had it a few days and only used it twice thus far, but it does everything I'd expect it to. It's not any louder than I would expect it to be. It is a blender. It is made of real metal and looks great on my kitchen counter. My smoothies have been completely smooth and not chunky. The lid won't allow you to add anything larger than berries or nuts while blending but that's a not a big deal to me. Seems well made.
