Brand new, 'low' speed doesn't work
6 April 2014
Summary: For about $15, this is OK. Does what I need it to, so far. I only needed something quicker to use and easier to clean than dragging out the blender for smaller jobs. Brand new, just out of the box, the low speed doesn't work. The high speed is fine for what I require. Doesn't seem worth the trouble to return it.
Summary: I like this hand blender. I chose this one because it was inexpensive. It is lightweight and easy to use, I had another brand that was heavy and awkward and difficult to operate and it was very expensive so I'm very happy with my purchase.
Summary: Excellent quality. I use this item almost every day to puree vegetables and fruits to add nutrition to whatever I am cooking. It has a nice solid feel in your hand, is quite powerful, and is easy to use!
Summary: This is not a bad blender, but it has one major design flaw. Water gets caught in the stick part and you cannot get it out. After several months of almost daily use, I am now afraid to use it because the grungy water trapped in the plastic is disgusting.
Summary: I received this product yesterday and used it this morning to make a fluffy omelet. It worked fine EXCEPT that by the time I had finished beating two egg whites to very soft peaks and two egg yolks to thick and slightly lighter in color (using the "high" setting), the unit was hot and smelled of burning plastic (which was why I did not continue beating the egg yolks).
