Brand new, 'low' speed doesn't work

Eve, Amazon
6 April 2014
  • Summary: For about $15, this is OK. Does what I need it to, so far. I only needed something quicker to use and easier to clean than dragging out the blender for smaller jobs. Brand new, just out of the box, the low speed doesn't work. The high speed is fine for what I require. Doesn't seem worth the trouble to return it.

simple & easy

Barry Massingill, Amazon
18 March 2014
  • Summary: I like this hand blender. I chose this one because it was inexpensive. It is lightweight and easy to use, I had another brand that was heavy and awkward and difficult to operate and it was very expensive so I'm very happy with my purchase.

Awesome handheld blender

JM, Illinois, Amazon
4 March 2014
  • Summary: Love this handy product. I use it to mash potatoes, mash beans from regular canned beans to make healthier "refried" beans (minus the refried), and to blend sports drinks. Works wonderfully.

Great for soap making

Casey Astbury McGraw, Amazon
3 March 2014
  • Summary: I purchased this to assist me in making my homemade soaps. It works great and the bonus is the whisk, which at first I didn't think I could use but I now use for my whipped body butters.

Cannot get it clean.

Deborah S. Seagraves, Amazon
2 March 2014
  • Summary: This is not a bad blender, but it has one major design flaw. Water gets caught in the stick part and you cannot get it out. After several months of almost daily use, I am now afraid to use it because the grungy water trapped in the plastic is disgusting.

Great product for short use

Eleanor Latham, Amazon
31 January 2014
  • Summary: I received this product yesterday and used it this morning to make a fluffy omelet. It worked fine EXCEPT that by the time I had finished beating two egg whites to very soft peaks and two egg yolks to thick and slightly lighter in color (using the "high" setting), the unit was hot and smelled of burning plastic (which was why I did not continue beating the egg yolks).

best blender

debra golden, Amazon
20 December 2013
  • Summary: I've already used it for immersion blending of soups and such. It's pretty powerful, too, and quickly pureed squash without a mess. It's very easy to use and to clean.
