I spent 2x as much for a Ninja and it does a beautiful job of chopping things up

Summary: It was okay but it doesn't mix as well. I spent 2x as much for a Ninja and it does a beautiful job of chopping things up. This blender served well for just fruit smoothies (it took a little longer but it did the job), however, if you are looking to start putting in lettuce or carrots this blender...
Summary: Excellent blender. It does exactly what it states. I use this to make smoothies in daily. Easy to clean. Lid fits a bit tight but at least I know it's not going to blow off. I love the easy pour spout. I haven't found anything this blender can't devour.
Summary: Well this great hamilton blender works like a charm it made easy things to chop right away fast and it's in great condition to trying to be very careful with it and it made my smoothie easily.
Summary: I bought this blender back in 2011. I use it mostly for smoothies...which I make 1-2 times a day. It takes a beating grinding up frozen bananas, but hasn't had any problems. I've bought more expensive blenders in the past and they always have issues so I vowed never to pay a lot for a blender again.
Summary: The blender motor burned up after only 3 uses making smoothies. Granted, we were using frozen blueberries, but it should have been able to handle the load. This is the second same model Hamilton Beach blender that we smoked making smoothies with frozen fruit.
Summary: The blender original came with a cracked cover I called the number provided for part replacement and it was replaced quickly without an issue. Make sure you sign up for the warranty when you first receive. Works very well for blending smoothies.
Summary: In putting the blender back together from the box, it does not sit securly on the base, it rocks a bit back and forth and does not give a feeling of stability. Nothing was broken or cracked to account for this unsteadiness, but compared to an old Oster blender from 30 years ago, it seems flimsy.
