Great buy. Great kitchen equipment
21 December 2014
Summary: I love this so much that I also ordered one for my daughter. It is great when you dont want to drag out the huge heavy equipment. This takes the place of 3 different appliances. Great size if you are only cooking for 2 to 4 people. Heavy duty.
Summary: I needed an immersion blender for some of my winter soups (Butternut Squash, Cauliflower, Broccoli, Potato, etc.) and bought this blender. I'm so happy I did because; besides the blender, I got a mixer to blend my almond butter and a chopper for veggies. This was a great buy!
Summary: I love this product! I like to make a lot of puréed soups and it's such a pain to transfer the hot soup into a food processor. I decided to buy a hand blender and chose this one because of the price, reviews and the fact that it has a mixer attachment and a chopper attachment. The blender is fantastic. It's so much easier to just blend things right inside the pot you cooked it in. Just make sure you hold it with both hands, it's pretty powerful.
Summary: I was very impressed just taking it out of the box, and using it did not disappoint! It is powerful, and a quality piece. Not cheap looking or feeling. I used all the attachments with in the first few days and all are great. It is larger than it looks in the photos - the handle is 8", one attachment is 7" the other 9". It is a nice weight to the handle. The attachments just rinse off right away for EZ cleanup.
Has problems chopping dry onions, and the whisk is ok
14 November 2014
Summary: The hand blender and chopper are great, though with some types of onions that have thin layers, the chopper leaves full layers that are not chopped. I used the blender in a boiling soup pot and it worked great. The whisk part is very useful if you want to avoid taking out a big mixer and just whisk small portions. However, the results might not be the same - egg did not become perfectly fluffed as I wanted.
Summary: WORKS GREAT - I got rid of my Cuisinart mini-chopper. This one works much better and it thoroughly chops evenly without over-pulverizing stuff at the bottom while the blade makes bigger / denser items "dance" on the top (like my Cuisinart did). The hand blender works equally well to my Cuisinart but is lighter. The whisk is wonderful for whipping egg whites & protein powders into my son's morning shake.
Summary: This works well for the price. I wore out a Braun and needed to buy another. My *must* is the whipper, and it functions well. I would suggest hand-washing that piece, as it's the first part that wore out for me on my Braun. The chopper bowl is an excellent size and closes securely. If you can afford to buy one with more speeds, I'd encourage you to do that. If you're on a budget like I am, I believe this will satisfy your gadget ye.
