Summary: Horrible. Don't buy. Won't chop ice, leaves chunks. If you try and make a shake it can't mix the ice cream. It doesn't have enough power. At 13 months old the bottom part that hooks into the jar got stuck in the unit and stopped working.
Summary: I bought the Cuisinart SPB-600 about 4 years ago from Kohls and I have hated it everyday since then. I purchased it because I figured "Cuisinart makes an awesome food processor, so I bet this blender will be great." Well, I was dead wrong.
Summary: The blending mechanism for this appliance is downright shoddy. I've replaced it four times, over 6 to 9 month intervals, because it begins to tighten to the point of nearly being frozen. It's happening again now, and I'm really considering simply tossing it out.
Summary: I am on a partially liquid diet. As a reward for losing my first 15 lbs, my mom bought this for me. I wanted a glass jar that I could put in dishwasher and a more powerful motor. I was replacing a $25 Oster blender I've had for years.
Summary: Don't be seduced by the nice design. This thing is a piece of JUNK. I grew up with Cuisinart products and thought that I would be purchasing a quality product. This is anything but. It is poorly made, although the glass is thick.
Very loud motor, poor customer service, defective blade, but you get what you pay for.

Summary: Frozen fruit protein smoothies are a major part of my diet routine and on a low budget, I decided to try this blender. I've had it for a bit over a year. The motor is powerful. It will crush a cup of frozen strawberries on low with no problem.
