Summary: This is a great blender very powerful for being cordless. This item has been able to preform every task we've used it for without fail. Being cordless has made life very convienant for daily blender suppliment drinks. Does everything our corded blender did without the cluter of the cord.
Summary: I had high hopes for this given the brand and the price. At first, I especially liked the cordless feature. But then I discovered that the battery life on it is ridiculously short. My house used it to make sauces and homemade mayonnaise. These activities required sustained usage for several minutes and this unit would run out of juice before the job was finished.
Summary: I love this appliance for it's ease of use and sufficient power to easily whip up a delicious pureed soup in five minutes with virtually no mess. I like the convenience of being able to leave the motor plugged in so no forgetting to recharge.
Summary: After years of using a hand blender with a cord, this cordless hand blender gave me that freedom to work anywhere in the kitchen. But that was the only good feature. The rechargable battery-pak handle weight became very heavy with extended time use. And what aggrevated the workload was the sluggish blending power (particularly when it came to crushing icy drinks). Even my protein drinks took much longer to blend smoothly compared my old corded model.
Summary: I have an earlier version of this cordless immersion blender. I loved the idea of a cordless model, but I found some big drawbacks. On a full charge, the battery would run out of juice after about 5 minutes. So if you want to puree several batches of food at once, you're out of luck until you wait for the battery to charge. After about a year, my battery no longer held a charge while the unit was in storage.
Summary: I use a hand blender every day to mix protein shakes; this cordless model has only one setting and has less power than the KitchenAid corded model on the lowest setting. Still the Cuisinart seems fine for the task of mixing liquids, but I would not expect it to be any good at chopping foods. I'm a bit concerned if the battery wears down over time if it will be up to the task even when fully charged. Also not ergonomic at all.
Summary: Wish I'd paid attention to the review that said it was a large stick. The unit is too large and too heavy for me. On first use, the blade attachment wobbles. Doesn't feel safe to say the least. I also don't like rechargable after using it. Most of the time when I want to use a stick, it's impromptu and having to either have it plugged in all the time or wait a few minutes for it to charge is useless. I definitely have buyer's remorse on this one.
