Excerpt: I just love this product. I have owned one for over 20 years and it still works like a charm! From making milkshakes to blending sauces I find its small size makes it easy to use and the tall skinny design makes it easy to store. I actually own two of them now.
Excerpt: This is an awesome little immersion hand blender. Very powerful! I use mine mainly for soups and homemade tomato sauce. I like that I can leave my recipes in the crock pot or pot to blend and not have to dirty a blender container. Blends up chunks nice and smooth and very fast too. Just make sure you put this all the way to the bottom of your pot or you will be wearing some of what you are making. It is small so stores away nicely, cleans up easily too.

Summary: Was okay when I first received as a gift- and was my first immersion blender. After just a little over 18 months (the warranty period) it died. The only thing I use it for is blending soup. I have not abused it. Expected more from a brand like cuisinart, frankly. Also, its function is not great. Holes on the side of blade get clogged all the time, blade is not very sharp.
Excerpt: When our first son was starting to eat baby food, we decided that it would be cheaper to blend our own fruits and vegetables rather than buy small jars of baby food. We found this Cuisinart hand blender at a yard sale for a couple dollars and went to work. It turned out working great for us, and in the end we were able to save a lot of money by using this instead of buying the baby food jars.
