Excerpt: I have been looking for a powerful blender that I could use to crush nuts without liquefying them and something that could break down tomatoes that have been partially cooked with the skins removed. In order to make the base for pasta sauce you need to remove the skin and most of the seeds; some blenders can break down whole tomatoes and some can't.
I bought my first model and the motor burned out ...

Summary: I bought my first model and the motor burned out. I thought that was a fluke and purchased another and it died today with smoke coming from the motor. I usually find Cuisinart products to be of high quality, but their top of the line blender is poorly designed.
Summary: So far this blender has done all I ask. I make a smoothy for my mornings in batches of 4 days. Said smoothie has celery, ginder, frozen berries and some powder mixes in it which can get very thick. Everything is always ground up just the way it should be. It did take a bit for me to get use to the on/off automatic settings....kind of threw me the first time, lol. However, I know that feature is in place so the motor does not over heat.
Excerpt: I found this blender on Amazon for $129. On Amazon, it only had a two out of five star rating, so I came here to check it out. It seemed pretty reasonable, so I bought it despite the bad reviews on Amazon. What I like about it is that it has 700 Watts of blending power, so it has a strong blend. The glass cup part is dishwasher safe so the ease of cleaning is quite easy. The cup part is 56 oz so it can make enough for everyone. This blender is also fairly cheap.
Excerpt: Got the Cuisine Art Power Edge Blender as a wedding gift. It's one of my favorite gifts that I received. I love to cook so when I saw that this is one of the presents that we received, my heart leap with happiness. I knew that cooking would be easier and fun. I heart good reviews for the product. I cook a lot of home-made dishes so the CuisineArt is really a great help. I use it for soups, sauces. It is extremely fast, auto stop, has low/high speeds, and a great motor.
Summary: I hate buying blenders because it is hard to find a good one. Here is the reason I love this one: Large Glass Container with VERY clear markers. Heavy duty base with multiple speed options Wide open top with sturdy cover Power! Power! Power! - this blemder is NOT a wuss! (sp) GOOD LOOKing!
Excerpt: This blender is one of the most powerful one's I've owned, which is saying a lot, since I have gone through many other ones. The quality is great and I have no complaints so far. If you're looking for an everyday blender, this is a good choice.
Excerpt: Cuisine art power edge 700 blender is one of the best blenders I've owned so far! When you turn it on, it is not as loud as other blenders. It is actually very quiet, and less disturbing. It also blends smoothies so smooth, that we make them almost everyday. I also blend ingredients for recipes together, and make some hone made hot sauce.
Excerpt: We got this blender as a wedding gift and we love it. I will honestly say that I pretty much only use it to make margaritas and the occasional smoothie. My old blender would leave chunks of ice or frozen fruit but this one never does. Even when I really fill it up it blends everything quickly and evenly. It also looks really nice, much better than most blenders I have seen.
