Summary: I’m surprised it has taken me this long to write a review. Sorry if this is a bit of a novel, but this blender has changed my life!! I’ve been using the Blendtec for the last two and a half years to make veggie shakes – it is an amazing machine. Some folks prefer juicers as opposed to a blender, but I find that you waste all of the fiber, which is good for you and fills you up as well (you get something that is a bit more like juice with a juicer, but the Blendtec does...
Summary: I used a very cheap blender for long time and finally i got tired of not being able to do what i wanted with it i decided to get this Blendtec. Now i can happily say that it was a great idea! It blends really well, it's not as noisy as other blenders, very easy to use and i love it.
Five stars! Just be sure to buy some headphones as this baby is powerful.

Summary: It's expensive, so I debated buying this for several days. But I was enjoying the health benefits of using a nutriblast for a few months and wanted something more powerful. I'm glad I invested in this. It does everything! It IS loud; it sounds like a motrocycle revving up. That's why I went to a local home supply store and bought the type of headphones people use when riding lawn mowers. I want to preserve my hearing.
Summary: This is my second purchase of the Blendtec. This was for my daughter who is all into health foods and drinks. This blender will take the hardest vegetables and make a smoothly out of it. It is amazing. I like mine. Comes with a great cookbook. Best idea is peel the skin off some lemons, press one button, and make lemonade out of the rest or add ice to make lemon slush. You will never want another blender.
Summary: Granted, I did not purchase a Vitamix (or the less expensive, Ninja) in conjunction with this purchase so I don't have a direct comparison - BUT - I DID do a lot of research that led me to this purchase. Did I spend a boat load of cash (comparatively) on a blender? Sure, but I would do it again in a heartbeat. This blender is one of my favorite tools. OVERALL. It handles anything I throw at it and asks for more.
Summary: After switching to green smoothies for breakfast using a normal blender I was going a bit insane. It should not be a 15 min blend job. I complained to a friend about it (she is a pro-chef) and she took me into the kitchen to show me the difference this thing would make. I asked about this and the Vitamix after browsing all these reviews. Her response rings true after using my grandparents Vitamix, "You can't go wrong either way.
Summary: I looked at several brands of blenders but settled on the Blendtec, not because it was cheaper, but because of its reputation. After reading about it and all the reviews I could find, I bought it. I wanted a blender that could do a variety of things fast and without a lot of hassle. This one does the trick. My father gave me only a few pieces of advance when heading out into the world and one was, “quality might be hard to pay for, but it is easy to live with”.
