  • Excerpt: I have had these binoculars in the past and had to return due to a fault in the optics which was a round circle only visible at night around street lights!! I though the image was very average and I said to my self that perhaps the fault had a direct impact on the overall performance of the optics.

best for the money

  • Excerpt: The Zeiss Terra ED 10x42 binoculars really out did themselves. They performed as stated and better than anything close in this price range. I hunt, fish and travel and use binoculars in these activities. There's nothing in this price range to compete with the Zeiss Terra binoculars that I‘ve used.

  • Excerpt: It´s not like the big brothers Zeiss though but for this amount of money, it´s a bargain. The only negative point i can find is that it does not come with a sturdy case.
  • Pros: Compact, Lightweight, Quality Lenses, Strong Construction
  • Cons: No Sturdy Case

Great Binocular

  • Excerpt: I love this Binocular. It's easy to focus and the image is sharp. Happy with this purchase. The best use is to get a tripod mount and use it with monopod. The 10x42, the magnification is so big, it's hard to hold it steady after a while.
  • Pros: Close Focus, Compact, Lightweight, Quality Lenses, Strong Construction, Waterproof

Great value for your money

  • Excerpt: The Terra ED binoculars are a very good investment for someone wanting higher optical quality but at a fair price. The outer shell (sort of a rubber armor) resists perspiration unlike other brands. The optical quality is one step from being truly great.
  • Pros: Compact, Lightweight, Quality Lenses, Strong Construction, Works Well With Glasses
  • Cons: Felt Bag, Stiff Eye-cups
