Super compact, super sharp, super bright

  • Excerpt: These binoculars fold down into a very compact and light case, so that you can take them anywhere and hardly even notice that you have them. I was initially worried that the neck 'strap' which is really just a thin string, would be uncomfortable, but the Zeiss Conquest is so light, it is no problem at all. Best of all, the images are incredibly sharp and almost impossibly bright.

Deflated expectations

  • Excerpt: Bought these for my daughters- Costa Rica trip. I have the Zeiss Victory 10x and love them, but they have a hard time holding them, so I thought these would be perfect being lighter. Very disappointed- the lens and build quality is superb, but the eye piece rubber cups are rigid and do not fold back, so the clarity is poor. Returned these and bought Leica Trinovid 10x25 and the girls love those.

  • Excerpt: I USE THESE GLASSES DAILY ON XCOUNTRY HIKES IN LOCAL PARK WITH LONG, OPEN VISTAS AS WELL AS FORESTED AREAS. LIGHT AND COMPACT (AS ADVERTISED). THE ONLY PROBLEM IS PLACEMENT OF DIOPTER FOCUS AT FRONT OF LEFT LENS. IT IS VERY HARD TO HOLD THE UNIT STEADY AND FOCUS DIOPTER ADJUSTMENT KNOB. OTHERWISE, THESE GLASSES ARE PERFECT FOR MY NEEDS.
  • Pros: Close Focus, Compact, Lightweight, Quality Lenses, Strong Construction, Waterproof
  • Cons: Diopter Knob Place

  • Excerpt: I use these for everything duck hunting, big game hunting and everything else. the small compact size makes it easy to bring along without even knowing you have them but they are there when you need them. I had the smaller compacts until they were stolen went to the 10X25's and they are a little bigger but still easy to carry along all the time. You can get more power in a larger size but will you have them when you need them?

Zeiss Victory 10x25 T* Binocular

Chris, binocularreviews.org

  • Excerpt: I bought these a few years ago after comparing them with Leica's and Swarovski's offerings. I liked the ergonomics of these best but thought the Swarovski's had a slight edge optically. At the time the Victorys were $200 less and the optical difference was minuscule to my eyes so it was an easy decision to go with the Zeiss.

Small,but larger than life!

  • Excerpt: I travel to the Serengeti and the Sabi Sand every year for wildlife viewing. These binoculars are absolutely fantastic, they are extremely light,I actually carry them in my top pocket,in addition they focus very easily and are very clear, I am so happy with them that I just bought another pair for my wife We have just returned from Africa where we were on safari with other people who had much larger and heavier binoculars which did not do half as much as these,would...
