Summary: I'm not sure what I was expecting before purchasing this as I'd never tried a night scope. Easy to operate, just two buttons one for on/off and the other for IR addition. The view is somewhat small through the single lens although there is reasonably good definition at very low light. The angle of view is pretty narrow so you need to be looking pretty much straight at your subject.
Excellent product. Much better level 1 night vision than I had imagined possible at the price.

Summary: Great for watching wildlife at night. Super simple. Clear image with no distortion near the outside. The only thing which could improve it would be an integral camera. Very well received gift to wildlife watcher.
Summary: Tried my Exelon for the first time last night with half moon. Having regard to my military experience with 2nd generation devices, I was impressed with its performance both with and without IR. Moreover, it is very compact and light. Definitely worth the money. Excellent product. I can't wait to receive and try the extra Yukon IR light attachment I've ordered at the same time (even though the Exelon's IR is quite sufficient up to at least 80 meters - that's about the...
Summary: A good entry level night vision scope. Gives a relatively clear image under even in total darkness, though at its best when there is some moonlight. I would recommend for leisure use such as on safari or for observing wildlife in the garden at night.
Summary: I've been thinking about buying one of these for quite a while, and am glad I did. Image is way better than I expected. My garden is only small, about 10m long so not a good test area, but everything in it was very clear - there's a large foxglove in the garden and I can even make out some of the marking on the flowers from about 20 feet away.
Summary: Man bekommt ein gutes Gerät der Generation1. Wer besseres haben will muß eben Gen2++ kaufen.
