Great optics for the money

  • Summary: The Vortex Diamondback 10x32 are the best pair of binoculars I have ever used. The clarity is amazing and they are light enough that I can carry them all day and hardly know they are there. Great Optics for the money.

Vortex Diamondback 10x42 binos

  • Summary: I purchased these for my dad to use for bird watching and general use. I was able to look through them a few times while visiting and was very impressed with the brightness and clarity they afforded. The focus knob was firm but not stiff and the diopter adjustment was quick and easy. I didn't really have a chance to try the covers, though I like the idea of having them on-board. They appear to be every bit as solid as the Vortex Diamondback spotting scope I own.

Wow! Great glasses

  • Summary: Now, you can pay a lot more for a good pair of field glasses, but I doubt you will find a better value. They are clear and sharp and color correct throughout the entire field of view. The diopter adjust is a separate ring under the right eyepiece and will not drift with bumping around in your pack. As with any 10X binocular, you have to develop good glassing technique. Arms braced on the chest, maybe leaning on a tree to have a stable image.

Unintrusive, solid

  • Excerpt: The Straps are easily adjustable, the split rings and swivels seem solid (but I wish the swivels were metal or polycarb). The leather piece is a nice touch. Overall I can barely tell it's there when I'm wearing it, which is exactly as it should be. Very light, good features to prevent twisting.
  • Pros: Adjustable, Easy to install / use, Lightweight

Excellent!!!. Give Vortex a Look!

  • Summary: Was looking for a set of binoculars for the wife for her birthday. I was looking at a cheaper Nikon model but picket up this set to take a look. I'm glad I did. Great clarity and focus. Bought the 8 x 42 for birding. Just the right size for taking on the hike. You can spend less or more depending on you budget but to me this was a bargain. The lifetime warranty can't be beat.

Worth the money

  • Summary: Love these binoculars. Very clear. The only downfall with them is that the lens caps fall off all the time. I rigged a little piece of string to them so I don't loose them. Would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for that.

Vortex Binos

  • Summary: I am very impressed with these binoculars. Bight and clear, even when its almost dark. Just a suggestion: I don't wear glasses and to keep the eye cups extended, I stack O rings to keep them up. No goofing around when you needed them in an instant. I consider these a great value for any price.
