Excerpt: Excellent product I use binoculars for birding and have tried a variety of models in the inexpensive-to-intermediate price range ($100-300). I strongly prefer the Vortex Diamondback 8x42 Binocular over the others. First, the optics are sharp and remarkably bright in low light.
Excerpt: We purchased these optics for a municipal fire department to perform recon on buildings, trucks and trailers to assess for chemical hazards. The quality of the optics and the durable feel make them much more appropriate for the wear and tear they will receive from our use.
Pros: Close Focus, Quality Lenses, Strong Construction, Waterproof
Summary: If you have a problem with these Binoculars then its you. In the past I have had some super expensive binos and some low end cheap ones and there is a huge difference. If you are one of these guys who hunts from the truck or looks at whitetails at 300 or 400 yards you don't need these Vortex 15x50s.
Excerpt: Ive only used these a few times since my purchase but I really like them. My wife has used hers for over a year now and she loves hers too. Solid build, great warranty, close focusing. What's not to like.
Excerpt: Really good binoculars I recently purchased this Vortex Diamondback 8x42 Binocular after a brief survey on the internet. I was primarily interested in binoculars for birding. These are really good binoculars! They have a solid and expensive feel without being overly heavy.
Excerpt: This is my first pair of binoculars. Before purchasing, I did a bit of HW and called trusty Google to help me with my research. After several days of reading, I found that the Vortex 8x42 Diamondback was constantly recommended as being excellent for its price range.
Excerpt: Got these just in time for birding season. First glance up in the trees and the clarity and depth of field are terrific. Hard to believe you can get this quality in this price range. They are a little heavier than I would like at 25oz, but that's a minor compromise for the image they offer.
Pros: Clarity of image, Depth of field, Quality Lenses, Strong Construction, Works Well With Glasses
Excerpt: Bought the binos before going to Arizona. I am a bird watcher and I don't think I could ever get a better bino for the cost. Very comfortable in the hands and easy focus. I would recomend to anyone. Same price as in the store locally, but with the B&H extras, it is a win, win purchas.
Pros: Close Focus, Compact, Quality Lenses, Strong Construction
