Great product, great price

Utility Company, B&H Photo

  • Excerpt: We utilize the binocular in the utility industry to read meters that we cannot access either due to fences, dogs, snow or other obstructions. The binoculars allow us to read the meter from a distance.

Inexspensive product

"Big Guy", Adorama
28 May 2012
  • Excerpt: These are the least exspensive compact zoom binoculars I could find and for the most part they are ok. The problems start when you use the zoom feature. You almost always have to re-focus on your subject and this can be a pain because it makes for a longer time to get the best view and when bird...
  • Pros: Compact
  • Cons: Difficult To Focus

Can't beat the price

Nik Katz, B&H Photo
1 March 2011
  • Excerpt: Pros: very inexpensive; objective diameter adequate for daytime use; zooms easily; class lenses with (rather minimal) coating, lightweight. Cons: maximum magnification of 24x does not feel like 24x, more like 16x-18x; plastic construction, cheap materials throughout, would be much better with...

Light weight and cheap

Murat, B&H Photo
1 January 2011
  • Excerpt: This is good ratio of quality/price. For my purposes of watching birds it does enough for the money i paid. The main disadvantage is there is no possibility to mount to tripod. But that's ok for me, since I'm not gonna spend hours with this device.
  • Pros: Close Focus, Compact, Lightweight, Quality Lenses
  • Cons: No possibility for tripod, Unstable

Very good for the price

Neel, B&H Photo
11 August 2010
  • Excerpt: The build quality is quite good. The binoculars are good between 8x thru 16x zoom range, beyond that you will have to have it tripod mounted to have a steady view. But there is no tripod socket. So very difficult to use it beyond 16x hand holding it.
  • Pros: Compact, Lightweight, Strong Construction
  • Cons: Difficult 2 focus 16x

Extremely surprised!

JGibson1, B&H Photo
5 August 2010
  • Excerpt: Initially I expected these to be just basic binoculars and nothing too outstanding because of the low price, but man was I surprised! This is the best pair of binoculars I've ever owned and the ability to adjust from one viewing range to the other in addition to focusing, is just cool as it can be.
